23cm×60cm×45cmの透明アクリル容器(2か所に両手を入れる穴をあけたもの)を準備し、容器内にアカイエカ雌成虫30匹を放った。被験者の前腕に実施例あるいは比較例の供試薬剤(0.5g)を処理した綿布(30×30cm)をまきつけて、アクリル容器内に前腕を入れた。5分間、腕に係留した供試昆虫を計数して、忌避効果を評価した。なお、忌避率は無処理の綿布をまきつけて、同様の操作を行った際の5分間の係留した供試昆虫を計数して、実施例1と同様に算出した。試験は3回繰り返して、その平均値を算出した。

上記の結果より、実施例に示した抗菌成分との併用による忌避効果は忌避剤単独使用の場合に比較して、初期から一定時間に渡り効果が持続することが認められた。

試験方法
23cm×60cm×45cmの透明アクリル容器(2か所に両手を入れる穴をあけたもの)を準備し、容器内にアカイエカ雌成虫30匹を放った。7.5×30cmの綿布を4枚用意し、そのうち2枚に実施例および比較例に記載した供試薬剤1gを処理した。それらの綿布を前腕に処理綿布と無処理綿布が交互になるようまきつけ、透明アクリル板容器内に入れた。5分間、腕に処理した処理綿布および無処理綿布に係留した供試昆虫を計数して、忌避効果を評価した。なお、忌避率は4枚とも無処理の綿布をまきつけて、同様の操作を行った際の5分間の係留した供試昆虫を計数して、実施例1と同様に算出した。
Test method
A 23 cm × 60 cm × 45 cm transparent acrylic container (having two holes in both places) was prepared, and 30 female squids were released into the container.
