Abstract
【解決手段】この照明装置5は、第1の端面23a、側面25、および発光体の縦軸LAを有する光導管22と、第1の端面23aを通して光導管22内に第1の光を放射するよう配置される第1の光源24aと、発光体の縦軸LA沿いの選択位置に配置され、その側面を通して光導管22から、第1の光の対応部分をそらせるよう、それぞれが適合される複数の抽出器28a〜28nと、を備える端面連結型発光体1を含む。この照明装置5は、第1の光の一部を受け取り、その第1の光の一部を発光体の縦軸LAの方向に拡散させるよう配置される散光器26も含む。この照明装置5は、複写機またはプリンタ内に含まれ得る。

Claims (10)
- 画像保持面を照らす照明装置であって、
第1の端面、側面、および発光体の縦軸を有する光導管と、前記第1の端面を通して前記光導管内に第1の光を放射するよう配置される第1の光源と、前記発光体の縦軸沿いの選択位置に配置され、前記光導管から前記側面を通して前記第1の光の対応部分をそらせるよう、それぞれが適合される複数の抽出器と、を備える端面連結型発光体と、
前記第1の光の前記部分を受け取り、前記第1の光の前記部分を前記発光体の縦軸の方向に拡散させるよう配置される散光器と、を含む装置。 - 前記散光器が楕円形の散光器である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記散光器が、前記発光体の縦軸とほぼ平行な散光器の縦軸を有し、前記散光器は、前記発光体の縦軸と垂直で、かつ前記発光体の縦軸および前記散光器の縦軸を含む平面と垂直な第2の軸に沿って光を拡散させるよりも、前記散光器の縦軸に沿って光を大きく拡散させる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の光源が第1のLEDを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の光源が第1の複数の光源を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- プリンタまたは複写機であって、
画像保持面にマーキング媒体を塗布するよう構成される印刷エンジンと、
前記プリンタまたは複写機内の前記画像保持面を照らすシステムであって、
A)照明装置であって、
(i)第1の端面、側面、発光体の縦軸を有する光導管と、前記第1の端面を通して前記光導管内に第1の光を放射するよう配置される第1の光源と、前記発光体の縦軸沿いの選択位置に配置され、前記光導管から前記側面を通して前記第1の光の対応部分をそらせるよう、それぞれが適合される複数の抽出器と、を備える端面連結型発光体と、
(ii)前記第1の光の前記部分を受け取り、前記第1の光の前記部分を前記発光体の縦軸の方向に拡散させ、それにより、光の出力を提供するよう配置される散光器であって、前記照明装置は、前記光出力を前記画像保持面に転送するよう配置される、散光器と、を含む照明装置と、
B)光センサであって、前記画像保持面から反射される前記光出力の正反射部分および拡散部分のうちの少なくとも一方を受け取るよう、前記画像保持面に対して配置される光センサと、を含むシステムと、を含むプリンタまたは複写機。 - 前記散光器が楕円形の散光器である、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記散光器が、前記発光体の縦軸とほぼ平行な散光器の縦軸を有し、前記散光器は、前記発光体の縦軸と垂直で、かつ前記発光体の縦軸および前記散光器の縦軸を含む平面と垂直な第2の軸に沿った拡散よりも前記散光器の縦軸に沿って大きな拡散を有する、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の光源が第1のLEDを含む、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の光源が第1の複数の光源を含む、請求項6に記載の装置。
