Abstract
Description
このような構成により、オーバーフロー式の仕切り板とアンダーフロー式の仕切り板とが隣接している箇所では、内容物が、リアクターの下方から上方に向かって、または、上方から下方に向かって移動することになり、内容物の移動距離が大きくなる。その結果、マイクロ波がより長時間照射されることになり、未反応の内容物が出力されることが低減されることになる。
このような構成により、内容物の経路を長くすることができ、未反応の内容物が出力されることが低減されることになる。
このような構成により、例えば、内容物よりも比重の大きい流通可能な固体触媒がリアクター内に存在する場合に、その固体触媒が、フロー方向に沿ってアンダーフロー式、オーバーフロー式の順に隣接する2個の仕切り板の間を上方側に移動することは困難であることを利用して、固体触媒が室に滞留するようにすることも可能である。
このような構成により、例えば、内容物よりも比重の小さい流通可能な固体触媒がリアクター内に存在する場合に、その固体触媒が、フロー方向に沿ってオーバーフロー式、アンダーフロー式の順に隣接する2個の仕切り板の間を下方側に移動することは困難であることを利用して、固体触媒が室に滞留するようにすることも可能である。
このような構成により、アンダーフロー式の仕切り板の上方も介しても、マイクロ波が室間を通過することができるようになる。
本発明の実施の形態1による化学反応装置について、図面を参照しながら説明する。本実施の形態による化学反応装置は、オーバーフロー式の仕切り板とアンダーフロー式の仕切り板とによって内部が複数の室に分けられたリアクターの内容物に対してマイクロ波を照射するものである。

Claims (6)
- 液状の内容物が、上方に未充填空間を有した状態で水平方向に流れる横型のフロー式のリアクターと、
マイクロ波を発生するマイクロ波発生器と、
前記マイクロ波発生器の発生したマイクロ波を、前記リアクターの未充填空間に伝送する導波管と、を備え、
前記リアクターは、前記内容物が上方を通過するオーバーフロー式の仕切り板と、前記内容物が下方を通過するアンダーフロー式の仕切り板とによって内部が複数の室に仕切られている、化学反応装置。 - 前記オーバーフロー式の仕切り板と前記アンダーフロー式の仕切り板とは、前記内容物のフロー方向に沿って交互に配設されている、請求項1記載の化学反応装置。
- 前記フロー方向に沿ってオーバーフロー式、アンダーフロー式の順に隣接する2個の仕切り板の間隔は、前記フロー方向に沿ってアンダーフロー式、オーバーフロー式の順に隣接する2個の仕切り板の間隔よりも大きい、請求項2記載の化学反応装置。
- 前記フロー方向に沿ってアンダーフロー式、オーバーフロー式の順に隣接する2個の仕切り板の間隔は、前記フロー方向に沿ってオーバーフロー式、アンダーフロー式の順に隣接する2個の仕切り板の間隔よりも大きい、請求項2記載の化学反応装置。
- 隣接する2個の仕切り板の間隔は均等である、請求項1または請求項2記載の化学反応装置。
- 前記アンダーフロー式の仕切り板の未充填空間に相当する箇所に、マイクロ波の通過可能な空間がある、請求項1から請求項5のいずれか記載の化学反応装置。
