Abstract
Description

Claims (17)
- 患者の皮膚または衣服の少なくとも一方に付着するように構成された粘着剤を有する構造と、経皮エネルギー伝送コイルのハウジングに係合して、前記構造と所定の位置合わせで前記ハウジングを保持するように構成された係合機能とを備えた、経皮エネルギー伝送コイルのための位置合わせ装置。
- 前記構造が、前記粘着剤を含む可撓性シート要素と、前記シート要素に接続された本体とを備え、前記本体が前記係合機能を画定する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記シート要素が、反対向きの第1の側および第2の側を有し、前記粘着剤の少なくとも一部が前記第1の側に配置され、前記本体が前記第2の側から突出する、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記係合機能が前記本体の周壁を備える、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記周壁が、外方へ延びる軸の周りの回転面の形状である、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 請求項1に記載の位置合わせ装置と、患者の体内に装着するように構成された内部コイルと、ハウジングを有する外部コイルとを備え、前記内部コイルが前記患者の体内に配置され前記位置合わせ装置が前記内部コイルと所定の空間関係で前記患者に固定されたときに、前記ハウジングが前記位置合わせ装置の係合機能に係合することにより前記外部コイルを前記内部コイルに位置合わせするように、前記ハウジングが前記位置合わせ装置の前記係合機能に係合するように構成される、経皮エネルギー伝送システム。
- 前記外部コイルが外部コイル軸を画定し、前記ハウジングが前記外部コイルと同軸のハウジング機能を備える、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- (a)位置合わせ装置が内部コイルと所定の空間関係にあるように、被験体の皮膚または前記被験体が着用する衣服に粘着固定された前記位置合わせ装置を維持するステップと、
(b)外部コイルのハウジングを前記位置合わせ装置に係合させることにより、前記外部コイルを前記内部コイルに位置合わせするステップと、
(c)前記ハウジングが前記位置合わせ装置に係合されている間、前記外部コイルを作動させることにより前記内部コイルを駆動するステップとを含む、哺乳類の被験体の体内に配置された内部コイルにエネルギーを供給する方法。 - 前記位置合わせ装置が前記外部コイルよりも小さい、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記外部コイルの前記ハウジングを前記位置合わせ装置から取り外すステップと、続いて前記ハウジングを前記位置合わせ装置に再び係合させるステップとをさらに含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記取り外すステップおよび再び係合させるステップが、医療提供者の助けなしで行われる、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 被験体が人の患者であり、前記取り外すステップおよび再び係合させるステップが、前記患者によって行われる、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記位置合わせ装置が前記被験体の皮膚に解放可能に粘着固定され、前記方法が、前記位置合わせ装置を前記皮膚から取り外すステップと、続いて前記位置合わせ装置を、前記内部コイルと所定の空間関係にある同一または別の位置合わせ装置と置き換えるステップとをさらに含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記位置合わせ装置を置き換える前記ステップが、前記被験体の皮膚の視覚的特徴を参照して、前記位置合わせ装置を位置決めするステップを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記視覚的特徴が入れ墨である、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 医療提供者の助けなしで行われる、請求項14に記載の方法。
- (a)位置合わせ装置が内部コイルと所定の空間関係にあるように、被験体の皮膚の入れ墨を参照して選択された位置に外部コイルを固定するステップと、
(b)前記外部コイルが前記位置に配置されている間、前記外部コイルを作動させることにより前記内部コイルを駆動するステップとを含む、哺乳類の被験体の体内に配置された前記内部コイルにエネルギーを供給する方法。
