Claims (14)
- 車両の内燃機関を出て行く排気ガスの一部の取出しを可能とするループ内でのEGRガスの流れを調節するためのバルブ(1)であって、内部ダクト(2)の境界を定める本体を有すると共にフラップ(3,30)を含み、そのフラップ(3,30)は、当該フラップ(3,30)を第1部分(5,50)と第2部分(6)とに分ける軸(4,80)上に枢動するように取り付けられており、前記フラップ(3,30)は、前記ダクト(2)内での前記ガスの通過を許容する開放位置と、前記通過を妨げる閉鎖位置との間で枢動することができ、その閉鎖位置のときには前記第1部分(5,50)と前記第2部分(6)とが受け要素(7,8)に当たり、前記フラップの前記第1部分(5)は、ある閾値よりも小さい前記フラップ(3)の開き角について当該第1部分(5)と前記受け要素(7)との間のガス流路断面を縮小させるために、増厚部分(9)を含んでいる、バルブ(1)。
- 前記閾値は10°未満である、請求項1記載のバルブ(1)。
- 前記受け要素は、当該バルブのシール(7,8)であり、当該バルブが前記閉鎖位置にあるとき、前記フラップの前記第1部分(5,50)および前記第2部分(6)の周辺部において前記シールが当該バルブを密封する、請求項1と請求項2のいずれか一項に記載のバルブ。
- 前記フラップ(3)が閉鎖位置にあるとき、前記フラップの前記第1部分(5)の第1表面が当該バルブの前記シール(7,8)と接触すると共に、当該バルブの前記第2部分(6)の第2表面が当該バルブの前記シール(7,8)と接触し、前記第1表面と前記第2表面とが互いに前記フラップの反対側の表面である、請求項3記載のバルブ。
- 前記増厚部分(9)は、前記フラップ(3)の前記第1部分(5)の幅全体を延長しており、前記第1部分(5)の前記幅は、前記フラップ(3)の前記軸(4)に平行である、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のバルブ(1)。
- 当該バルブの前記第1部分は、前記増厚部分(9)が上に載せられた支持部(70)を含んでおり、前記増厚部分(9)が前記フラップの前記第2部分(6)を前記支持部(70)に連結している、請求項5記載のバルブ(1)。
- 前記フラップ(3)の回転軸線に沿って測った前記支持部の幅が、前記フラップ(3)の回転軸線に沿って測った前記増厚部分(9)の幅よりも大きくなっている、請求項6記載のバルブ(1)。
- 前記増厚部分(9)は、10°未満の開き角の範囲に渡って一定のガス流路断面(J1)を作り出すように構成されている、前記請求項のうちいずれか一項に記載のバルブ(1)。
- 前記一定の流路断面(J1)は、前記増厚部分(9)の平坦な壁(10)によって作り出される、請求項8記載のバルブ(1)。
- 前記フラップ(3)の前記第1部分(5)は略平坦であり、一定のガス流路断面(J1)を作り出すのを可能とする前記増厚部分(9)の前記平坦な壁(10)は、前記第1部分(5)の平面(12)に略垂直である、請求項9記載のバルブ(1)。
- 前記フラップの前記2つの部分(5,6)同士が、互いに連続していて、互いに一体に連結されている、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載のバルブ(1)。
- 前記フラップ(3)の前記第1部分(5)において縁部を前記軸(4)から最大の距離に延長している後縁部(13)が、当該バルブ(1)の内部構造の壁(14)と共に、前記ガスのための第2流路(J2)を作り出している、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載のバルブ(1)。
- 当該バルブ(1)の前記内部構造の壁(14)は鋳造壁であり、前記フラップ(3)の小さな開き角に対するガス流量が、初めに、前記第1シール部分(7,8)と共に前記ガス流路断面(J1)を縮小させる前記増厚部分(9)によって調節され、次に、前記鋳造壁(14)と共に前記フラップ(3)の開放移動を通じて一定の第2流路断面(J2)を作り出す前記フラップ(3)の前記第1部分(5)の前記後縁部(13)によって調節される、請求項12記載のバルブ(1)。
- 当該バルブ(1)の前記内部ダクト(2)内へと前記受け要素が突き出ている、前記請求項のうちいずれか一項に記載のバルブ(1)。
