Description
エポキシ化天然ゴム(“ENR”と略記する)は、例えば、天然ゴムのエポキシ化によって、例えば、クロロヒドリンまたはブロモヒドリンに基づく方法或いは過酸化水素、アルキルヒドロペルオキシドまたは過酸(過酢酸または過ギ酸のような)に基づく方法によって、既知の方法で得ることができる;そのようなENRは、例えば、Guthrie Polymer社から品名“ENR‐25”および“ENR‐50 (それぞれ、25%および50%のエポキシ化度)として販売されている。また、エポキシ化BRも、それ自体周知であって、例えば、Sartomer社から、品名“Poly Bd”(例えば、“Poly Bd 605E”)として販売されている。エポキシ化SBRは、当業者にとって周知のエポキシ化法によって調製し得る。
Claims (10)
- 下記を含むことを特徴とする複合補強材:
・1本以上の補強用スレッド;
・該スレッドを、即ち、各スレッドを個々にまたは複数本のスレッドを集合的に被覆するポリマー組成物の層 (この組成物は、ガラス転移温度が正である少なくとも1種の熱可塑性ポリマーと、エポキシ化ジエンエラストマーとを含む)。 - 熱可塑性ポリマーのガラス転移温度が、+20℃よりも高い、請求項1記載の複合補強材。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリマーが、ポリエステルまたは脂肪族ポリアミドである、請求項1または請求項2記載の複合補強材。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリマーが、脂肪族ポリアミドである、請求項3記載の複合補強材。
- 前記ジエンエラストマーが、天然ゴムまたは合成ポリイソプレンである、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項記載の複合補強材。
- 前記ジエンエラストマーが、ポリブタジエンまたはブタジエン/スチレンコポリマーである、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項記載の複合補強材。
- 補強用スレッドが、金属スレッドである、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項記載の複合補強材。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の複合補強材を含む、ゴム製の物品またはゴム製の半製品。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の複合補強材を含むタイヤ。
- 正のガラス転移温度を有する前記熱可塑性ポリマーおよび前記エポキシ化ジエンエラストマーを少なくとも含む前記ポリマー組成物の層によって、前記補強用スレッドまたは各補強用スレッドを個々に被覆するか、或いは複数本の補強用スレッドを集合的に被覆することを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の複合補強材の製造方法。
