Claims (21)
- 電気的に接続されている多数個の電池セルが積層されている電池セルアセンブリであって、前記電池セルは、一つまたは2つ以上の単位で、電極端子を除外した両側面が取り囲まれた状態でセルハウジング部材内に装着されており、少なくとも2つのセルハウジング部材の一面または両面には、電池セルの膨張時に電池セルの本体の一部をセルハウジング部材の外部に露出させることができる膨張開放部が形成されており、少なくとも2つ以上の膨張開放部が互いに対面するように電池セルが積層されていることを特徴とする、電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記セルハウジング部材内に装着されている2つ以上の電池セルは、並列接続されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記セルハウジング部材相互間の電池セルは、直列接続されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記膨張開放部は、電池セルが膨張していない状態でも電池セルの本体の一部が露出される開口の形状でセルハウジング部材に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記膨張開放部は、電池セルの膨張時に破断しながら電池セルの本体の一部が露出されるように、ノッチ溝の形状でセルハウジング部材に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記膨張開放部は、電池セルの膨張時に電極端子連結部位が破裂しながら断電がなされるように、前記電極端子連結部位に近接した位置のセルハウジング部材上に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記膨張開放部は、セルハウジング部材の中心を基準として電極端子連結部位側に偏向して位置していることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記膨張開放部は、電極端子連結部位に近接した位置からセルハウジング部材の一面の全体面積の10〜50%の範囲の面積で形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記セルハウジング部材のうち最上段に位置するセルハウジング部材は、下面に膨張開放部が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記セルハウジング部材のうち最下段に位置するセルハウジング部材は、上面に膨張開放部が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記セルハウジング部材のうち最上段及び最下段に位置するセルハウジング部材を除外した全てのセルハウジング部材のそれぞれは、両面に膨張開放部が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記セルハウジング部材の両面に形成されている膨張開放部は斜線構図をなしていることを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記セルハウジング部材の両面に形成されている膨張開放部は対面していることを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 対面する一対の膨張開放部は、隣接する他の一対の膨張開放部と斜線配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 対面する一対の膨張開放部は、隣接する他の一対の膨張開放部と対面していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記セルハウジング部材は、互いに結合する一対の第1及び第2セルハウジングからなっており、隣接して積層されている第1電池セルの第1セルハウジングの外面及び第2電池セルの第2セルハウジングの外面には、膨張開放部を除外した部位に冷媒流路形成のための突起が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記突起は、互いに対応する位置に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項16に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記電池セルは、金属層と樹脂層を含むラミネートシートの電池ケース内に電極組立体を装着し、電極組立体収納部の外周面に沿って電池ケースを熱融着してシーリング部を形成した構造の電池セルであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 請求項1に記載の電池セルアセンブリを含むことを特徴とする、電池モジュール。
- 請求項19に記載の電池モジュールを含むことを特徴とする、電池パック。
- 請求項20に記載の電池パックを電源または動力源として使用する、中大型デバイス。
