見掛密度は,既知の体積の乾燥させたエラストマー性ポリマー塊を2000 mlシリンダーに詰め,重量を計測して総重量を得て,そこからシリンダー重量を差し引いて得られた。上述のシリンダは,1000 ml,1500 ml及び2000 mlだけ詰められ,3回の計測が実施された。得られた3つの値の加重平均を見掛密度の値とする。
平均粒径(D50)は,計器により乾燥させたポリマー塊の代表量即ち100gを各テストごとに計測し,取得された。

- 請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載のポリマー溶液から溶媒を除去するための方法であって,前記エラストマー性ポリマーは:ポリブタジエン(BR);ポリイソプレン(IR);例えばスチレン-ブタジエン(SB)コポリマー,スチレン-ブタジエン-スチレン(SBS)コポリマー,スチレン-イソプレン-スチレン(SIS)コポリマー等のランダム,ブロック,テーパー分布を備えた,直鎖又は分岐鎖状の不飽和スチレンコポリマー;例えばスチレン-エチレン-プロピレン(SEP)コポリマー,スチレン-エチレン/ブチレン-スチレン(SEBS)コポリマー,スチレン-エチレン-プロピレン-スチレン(SEPS)コポリマー又はそれらの混合物等の,ランダム,ブロック,テーパー分布を備えた,直鎖又は分岐鎖状の飽和スチレンコポリマーから選択される方法。
- 請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載のポリマー溶液から溶媒を除去するための方法であって,前記ポリマー溶液は少なくとも1つの非極性有機溶媒を含み,該非極性有機溶媒は:ブタン,ペンタン,シクロペンタン,ヘキサン,ベンゼン,トルエン,シクロヘキサン,メチルシクロヘキサン,クロロベンゼン又はそれらの混合物から選択される方法。
- 請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載のポリマー溶液から溶媒を除去するための方法であって,前記エラストマー性ポリマーは前記ポリマー溶液中に,前記ポリマー溶液の総重量に対して重量%で2%から30%の分量範囲で存在する方法。
- 請求項1〜6の何れか一項に記載のポリマー溶液から溶媒を除去するための方法であって,前記層状材料は0.01 nmから30 nmの範囲の厚さのラメラを有する方法。
- 請求項1〜7の何れか一項に記載のポリマー溶液から溶媒を除去するための方法であって,前記層状材料は:例えばスメクタイトのようなフィロ珪酸塩,例えばモンモリロナイト,ベントナイト,ノントロナイト,バイデライト,ヴォルコンスコイト,ヘクトライト,サポナイト,ソーコナイト,マガディアイト,スチブンサイト又はそれらの混合物;バーミキュライト;ハロイサイト;セリサイト;アルミナート酸化物;ハイドロタルサイト;又はそれらの混合物から選択される方法。
- 請求項8に記載のポリマー溶液から溶媒を除去するための方法であって,前記層状材料はアルキルアンモニウム塩又はアルキルホスホニウム塩を使用して修飾され,前記塩は以下の一般式(I)を有する四級アンモニウム塩又はホスホニウム塩から選択され:
- YはN又はPを表し;
- R1, R2, R3及びR4は互いに同一か又は異なり,直鎖状又は分岐鎖状のC1-C20アルキル基又はヒドロキシアルキル基;直鎖状又は分岐鎖状のC2-C20アルケニル基又はヒドロキシアルケニル基;-R5-SH又は-R5-NH基であって,R5は直鎖状又は分岐鎖状のC1-C20アルキレン基を表す基;C6-C18アリール基;C7-C20アリールアルキル基又はアルキルアリール基;またはC5-C18シクロアルキル基を表し;前記シクロアルキル基は例えば酸素,窒素,硫黄等のヘテロ原子を含んでもよく;
- Xn-は塩化物イオン,硫酸イオン,リン酸イオン等のアニオンを表し;
- nは1,2,又は3を表す方法。 - 請求項1〜9の何れか一項に記載のポリマー溶液から溶媒を除去するための方法であって,前記層状材料は層間剥離(delamination)ステップにかけられる方法。
- 請求項10に記載のポリマー溶液から溶媒を除去するための方法であって,前記層間剥離ステップは前記層状材料の水溶液をミキサー又は遠心分離機中で,1,000 rpmから20,000 rpmの毎分回転数範囲で,10°Cから40°Cの温度範囲で,10分から3時間の時間範囲で攪拌にかけることにより実行される方法。
- 請求項11に記載のポリマー溶液から溶媒を除去するための方法であって,前記水溶液は,該水溶液の総重量に対して重量%で2.5x10-5%から5x10-3%の層状材料を含む方法。
- 請求項1〜12の何れか一項に記載のポリマー溶液から溶媒を除去するための方法であって,前記カチオン界面活性剤は請求項9に記載の一般式(I)を有するアルキルアンモニウム塩又はアルキルホスホニウム塩から選択される方法。
