ANCAMINE K54:トリス−2,4,6−ジメチルアミノメチルフェノール、Air Products and Chemicals,Inc.(Allentown,Pennsylvania,USA)から入手。
A部の準備:
ガラス製反応器中28.5グラムのTTD及び9.5グラムのEpikote 232を混合し、23℃で15分間攪拌した。その後、混合物を80℃まで加熱し、連続的に攪拌しながら60分間保持した。2グラムの硝酸カルシウム四水和物及び14グラムのAncamine K5を加え、更に30分間攪拌を続け、その後混合物を23℃まで冷却させた。高速ミキサー(モデル「DAC 150 FVZ」、Hauschild Engineering & Co.KG(Hamm,Germany)から入手)を3,000rpmで1分間用いて、1グラムのBYK W−966が均質になるまで分散した。29.4グラムのApyral SM 200、0.01グラムのクリスタル紫、14.5グラムのD32/4500グラスバブルズ、及び1グラムのDualite MS700を、1分間隔で加え、均質になるまで分散した。その後、使用前にA部を脱気した。
高速ミキサーを3,000rpm、23℃で用いて、1.2グラムのDisparlon 6500を18.8グラムのEpikote 232中に1分間分散した。続いて、混合物を90℃まで加熱し、この温度にて60分間オーブン内で保持し、その後、オーブンから出して23℃まで冷却させた。1.5グラムのBYK W−9010、18グラムのEpodil 757、3グラムのZ6040、34.5グラムのApryal SM 200、1グラムの二酸化チタン、21グラムのD32/4500グラスバブルズ、及び1グラムのDualite MS 700を、1分間隔で加え、高速ミキサーを3,000rpmで使用して均質になるまで分散した。その後、使用前にB部を脱気した。
表1に記載の組成に従って、実施例1に概ね記載した方法によって比較例2及び実施例3を調製した。
接着剤実施例において、以下の試験を実施した。表2に報告する結果は、接着剤につき3つの試験試料の平均を表す。
圧縮強度は、以下のようにASTM D695に従って測定した。Mix Pac Systems,AG(Rotkreuz,Switzerland)から入手した200mLの2:1複室カートリッジに、2:1の比でB部とA部を手で充填した。混合ノズル(タイプ「MC 13〜18」)をカートリッジに取り付け、約50グラムの混合物を、12.7mm(高さ)×12.7mm(幅)×25mm(長さ)の寸法を有するTeflon(商標)コーティングした成形型内に、4バール(400キロパスカル)の圧で押し出した。続いて、混合物を、最低7日間23℃にて成形型内で硬化させ、取り出した。硬化した試験サンプルを、引張圧縮装置(モデル「Z030」、Zwick GmbH & Coから入手内に挿入し、25mmの軸に沿って0.05インチ/分(1.27mm/分)の一定のクロスヘッド速度で圧縮した。最大荷重を断面積で除すことによって圧縮強度を求め、Kpsiで報告した。圧縮弾性率を、荷重−たわみ曲線の初期線形部分に接する直線を引き、続いてその直線の傾きを試料の断面積で除すことによって求めた。
100×25×1.6mmのアルミニウムストリップ(タイプ「2024 T3 CLAD」、Rocholl GmbH(Aglasterhausen,Germany)から入手)を、次の組成を有するクロム酸−硫酸浴中、70℃にて15分間エッチングを行った。
27.5重量パーセントの硫酸
7.5重量パーセントのクロム酸ナトリウム無水物
65.0重量パーセントの脱塩水
0.5グラム/リットルのアルミニウム
1.5グラム/リットルの硫酸銅(II)五水和物
ハニカムサンドイッチパネルの0.5×3×3インチ(1.27×7.62×7.62cm)の区画の中央部に、0.5インチ(1.27cm)の穴を開けた。穴の中に挿入部を置き、上述のMixPacシステムを用いて、締結具と穴との間の間隙に接着剤サンプルを注入した。次に、接着剤を約70°F(21.1℃)にて48時間、その後120°F(48.9℃)にて1時間硬化した。70°F(21.1℃)まで冷却後、締結具の機械ねじ部分内に棒を螺入し、続いて引張試験機のつかみ具に取り付けた。その後、0.05インチ/分(1.27mm/min)の引張速度で、締結具の取り外しに要する最大ピーク力(lbsで報告)を測定した。
ASTM D−1622に従って硬化した組成物の密度を測定した。結果はグラム/cm3で報告する。
MixPacシステムを用いて、1.27×1.27×12cmのシリコーン製成形型を実施例1で充填し、70°F(21.1℃)にて48時間硬化し、その後14 CFR 25.853(a)(i)に従って引火性試験を実施した。
