前記第2の副画素電極は、前記第1の枝電極の周りを取り囲むように形成されている第2の板状部分と、前記第2の板状部分から延出する複数の第2の枝電極と、を備え、

- 前記複数の第1の枝電極及び前記複数の第2の枝電極のうちのいずれか一方が延びている方向と平行な方向を基準として測定した前記第1の副画素電極と前記第2の副画素電極との間の間隔が4μmよりも大きく且つ4.5μm以下である場合、前記第1の副画素電極に印加される電圧に対する第2の副画素電極に印加される電圧の割合は、0.75以下である請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記複数の第1の枝電極及び前記複数の第2の枝電極のうちのいずれか一方が延びている方向と平行な方向を基準として測定した前記第1の副画素電極と前記第2の副画素電極との間の間隔が5μm以上である場合、前記第1の副画素電極に印加される電圧に対する第2の副画素電極に印加される電圧の割合は、0.7以下である請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。

- 前記第1の部分と前記第2の部分との間の境界は、前記第2の画素電極の前記第2の板状部分と重なり合い、
前記第2の部分は、前記基板となす勾配が異なる複数の領域を備える請求項24に記載の液晶表示装置。
