Abstract
Description
Claims (4)
- 荷電粒子を加速して荷電粒子線を出射する加速器と、
スキャニング法によって前記荷電粒子線を被照射体へ照射する照射部と、
前記加速器から出射された前記荷電粒子線を前記照射部へ輸送する輸送ラインと、
前記荷電粒子線のエネルギーを調整するエネルギー調整部と、
前記照射部又は前記輸送ラインに設けられた電磁石と、
前記電磁石に接続された電磁石電源と、
制御部と、を備え、
前記電磁石電源と前記電磁石との間には半導体が直列に接続され、
前記制御部は、前記荷電粒子線を照射する前記被照射体の層を切り替えるときに、前記エネルギー調整部を制御することによって前記荷電粒子線のエネルギーを低下させると共に、前記半導体の抵抗を上げる、荷電粒子線治療装置。 - 前記エネルギー調整部は、前記加速器と前記照射部との間に設けられ、
前記電磁石には、少なくとも前記輸送ラインに配置される収束電磁石又は偏向電磁石が含まれる、請求項1に記載の荷電粒子線治療装置。 - 前記加速器はシンクロトロンであり、
前記エネルギー調整部は、前記加速器内に設けられ、
前記電磁石には、少なくとも前記輸送ラインに配置される収束電磁石又は偏向電磁石が含まれる、請求項1に記載の荷電粒子線治療装置。 - 荷電粒子を加速して荷電粒子線を出射する加速器と、
スキャニング法を用いて前記荷電粒子線を被照射体へ照射する照射部と、
前記加速器から出射された前記荷電粒子線を前記照射部へ輸送する輸送ラインと、
前記荷電粒子線のエネルギーを調整するエネルギー調整部と、
前記照射部又は前記輸送ラインに設けられた電磁石と、
前記電磁石に接続された電磁石電源と、を備える荷電粒子線治療装置を用いて、前記照射部が照射する前記荷電粒子線の飛程を調整する荷電粒子線の飛程調整方法であって、
前記荷電粒子線を照射する前記被照射体の層を切り替えるときに、
前記エネルギー調整部を制御することによって前記荷電粒子線のエネルギーを低下させると共に、前記電磁石電源と前記電磁石との間に直列に接続された半導体に抵抗を上げる、荷電粒子線の飛程調整方法。
