Description
上記課題を解決する本発明の車載用画像処理装置は、路面上の対象物を検出する車載用画像処理装置であって、自車周囲を撮像した画像を取得する画像取得部と、該画像の自車近傍領域の輝度分布に基づいて自車周囲の路面状態を推定する路面状態推定部と、該路面状態に応じて対象物の判定方法を設定する判定方法設定部と、前記画像から前記対象物と推定される対象物候補を検出する対象物候補検出部と、前記判定方法を用いて前記対象物候補が前記対象物であるか否かを判定する対象物判定部とを有することを特徴としている。
たとえば、高速道路のサービスエリアやパーキングエリアでは、図１１の右図（ｂ）の左側の駐車枠線２３Ｌの下端から駐車枠線２３Ｌの延在方向に対して垂直な線分と、駐車枠線２３Ｌの下端同士を結ぶ線分との交差角度ρが０度、３０度、４５度のいずれかとすることが定められている。また、駐車枠２３の幅Ｗについても取り得る値の範囲が決まっている。そこで、本実施の形態では、上記交差角度ρが、０度、３０度、４５度のいずれかの値であるときに取り得る距離Ｂの値があらかじめ不図示のメモリ等に記憶されている。

Claims (1)
- 路面上の対象物を検出する車載用画像処理装置であって、
自車周囲を撮像した画像を取得する画像取得部と、
該画像の自車近傍領域の輝度分布に基づいて自車周囲の路面状態が予め設定された複数の路面状態のいずれに属するのかを推定する路面状態推定部と、
該推定された路面状態に応じて対象物の判定方法を設定する判定方法設定部と、
前記画像から前記対象物と推定される対象物候補を検出する対象物候補検出部と、
前記判定方法を用いて前記対象物候補が前記対象物であるか否かを判定する対象物判定部と、
を有することを特徴とする車載用画像処理装置。
