Abstract
【解決手段】発光装置が文字または画像を表示している期間において、発光装置が有するトランジスタは、飽和領域で動作されることができる機能を有し、発光装置が、被写体に照明光を照射している期間において、発光装置が有するトランジスタは、線形領域で動作されることができる機能を有する。

本実施の形態では、本発明の一態様の発光装置の駆動方法について説明する。

- 画素を有する発光装置であって、
前記画素は、トランジスタと、発光素子と、を有し、
前記トランジスタは、前記発光素子に流れる電流の大きさを制御することができる機能を有し、
前記発光装置が文字または画像を表示している期間において、前記トランジスタは、飽和領域で動作されることができる機能を有し、
前記発光装置が、被写体に照明光を照射している期間において、前記トランジスタは、線形領域で動作されることができる機能を有することを特徴とする発光装置。 - 発光装置とカメラ部とを有する電子機器であって、
前記発光装置は、画素を有し、
前記画素は、トランジスタと、発光素子と、を有し、
前記トランジスタは、前記発光素子に流れる電流の大きさを制御することができる機能を有し、
前記発光装置が文字または画像を表示している期間において、前記トランジスタは、飽和領域で動作されることができる機能を有し、
前記発光装置が、前記カメラ部を用いて撮影する被写体に、照明光を照射している期間において、前記トランジスタは、線形領域で動作されることができる機能を有することを特徴とする電子機器。 - 請求項2において、
前記カメラ部は、前記発光装置が前記被写体に前記照明光を照射している期間に、前記被写体の撮影を行うことができる機能を有することを特徴とする電子機器。 - 画素を有する発光装置の駆動方法であって、
前記画素は、トランジスタと、発光素子と、を有し、
前記トランジスタは、前記発光素子に流れる電流の大きさを制御することができる機能を有し、
第1の動作モードにおいて、前記発光装置は、文字または画像を表示し、かつ、前記トランジスタは、飽和領域で動作し、
第2の動作モードにおいて、前記発光装置は、被写体に照明光を照射し、かつ、前記トランジスタは、線形領域で動作していることを特徴とする発光装置の駆動方法。 - 発光装置とカメラ部とを有する電子機器の駆動方法であって、
前記発光装置は、画素を有し、
前記画素は、トランジスタと、発光素子と、を有し、
前記トランジスタは、前記発光素子に流れる電流の大きさを制御することができる機能を有し、
第1の動作モードにおいて、前記発光装置は、文字または画像を表示し、かつ、前記トランジスタは、飽和領域で動作し、
第2の動作モードにおいて、前記発光装置は、前記カメラ部を用いて撮影する被写体に照明光を照射し、かつ、前記トランジスタは、線形領域で動作していることを特徴とする電子機器の駆動方法。 - 請求項5において、
前記第2の動作モードにおいて、前記カメラ部は、前記被写体の撮影を行うことを特徴とする電子機器の駆動方法。
