前記DCIを選択された前記VRBへとエンコードする、
ように構成されるエンコーダと、
ダウンリンクフレームでのユーザ機器への送信のために前記E−PDCCHの前記VRBを物理リソースブロック(PRB)へマッピングするように構成されるマッパーと、
を備える装置。 - 前記装置がeNodeBを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。

サーチスペース候補の前記セットから1つ以上のVRBを装置に選択させ、
サーチスペース候補の前記セットと関連する所定数の前記VRBのうちの幾つかへDCIをエンコードさせ、
ダウンリンクフレームでのユーザ機器への送信のために前記E−PDCCHの前記VRBを物理リソースブロック(PRB)へと装置にマッピングさせる、

ダウンリンク制御情報(DCI)のアグリゲーションレベルと前記E−PDCCHの仮想リソースブロック(VRB)の数とに基づいてサーチスペース候補のセットを特定するように構成され、
サーチスペース候補の前記セットをブラインドデコードして前記DCIを検索するように構成される、
デコーダモジュールと、
を備える装置。 - 前記デコーダモジュールは、前記アグリゲーションレベルと前記VRBの数とに基づいて前記サーチスペース候補のうちの隣接する候補間のVRBのギャップの数を決定するように更に構成される、請求項22に記載の装置。
- 前記サーチスペース候補は、第1および第2のアグリゲーションレベルにおいて所定数の前記VRBにわたって等間隔で離間されている、請求項23に記載の装置。
- 前記デコーダモジュールまたは前記通信モジュールのうちの一方は、eNodeBから受信された通信信号の強度に基づいて前記DCIのいずれのアグリゲーションレベルをデコードすべきかを決定する、請求項22に記載の装置。
