Abstract
Description
本発明は、車両燃料システム、より具体的には、時に膨張タンク又は膨張キャニスタとも称される液体燃料捕捉(Liquid Fuel Trap、LFT)に関する。
一般的に、車両システムは特に、フィラーネックを備えた燃料タンクと、様々な燃料弁と、点火システムに燃料を供給するための配管と、燃料蒸気処理システム(典型的には炭素フィルタ回収システムキャニスタ)とを有し、前記燃料蒸気処理システムへ、燃料蒸気が燃料タンクから流れ、次いで、点火システムに供給される燃料混合物の濃度を高めるために使用される。
独国特許出願公開第10052399号明細書は、燃料タンクと、少なくとも1つの燃料ベント弁と、燃料回収システムと、少なくとも1つの燃料弁と液体燃料捕捉部との間に延びる液体燃料捕捉部とを備え、前記液体燃料捕捉部は、対応する少なくとも1つの燃料ベント弁に接続可能な入口ポートと、燃料蒸気回収システムに接続可能な出口ポートと、液体燃料を燃料タンクへ排出するための液体燃料排出アセンブリとを備えた、閉鎖された空間を備えた形成されたハウジングを有し、前記液体燃料排出アセンブリには、燃料推進機構が取り付けられている、車両燃料システムを開示している。
本発明によれば、車両燃料システム用の液体燃料捕捉装置が提供される。本発明による装置は、燃料蒸気通路に接続可能な少なくとも1つのポートを備えた閉鎖された空間を形成するハウジングと、前記空間からタンク内へ液体流体を排出することができる弁とを有する。さらにそれ以外に、ハウジングは、傾斜場面において、ハウジングにおける燃料が、燃料蒸気回収システムに接続可能な出口ポートに達することを防止するための少なくとも2つの保持手段を有する。したがって、少なくとも1つの入口ポートは少なくとも1つの対応する燃料弁に接続可能である。出口ポートは、一体化された部分が使用されるか、又はディーゼル部分が使用されるかに応じて、場合によっては燃料蒸気回収システムを通じて、環境と連通することができる燃料蒸気通路に接続可能である。さらに、液体燃料排出弁は、液体燃料を前記空間からタンク内へ排出するように適応させられている。
図1a)を参照すると、従来技術より公知の、1つの実施の形態による保持手段を一切備えない液体捕捉装置1の概略図が示されている。図1a)は、傾斜場面における液体捕捉装置1を示している。車両における液体捕捉装置の配置に応じて、図示された傾斜場面は、右転回、左転回又は加速状態であってよく、加速は、正の加速、又は制動状態である負の加速であってよい。
Claims (6)
- 燃料蒸気通路に接続可能な少なくとも1つのポートを備えた、閉鎖された空間を形成するハウジングと、前記空間からタンク内へ液体燃料を排出することができる弁とを備える、車両燃料システム用の液体燃料捕捉装置において、前記ハウジングは、傾斜場面において前記ハウジング内の燃料(3)が、燃料蒸気回収システムに接続可能な出口ポート(5)に達することを防止するための少なくとも2つの保持手段(7)を有することを特徴とする、車両燃料システム用の液体燃料捕捉装置。
- 前記保持手段(7)は、少なくとも1つのバリヤを含む、請求項1記載の液体燃料捕捉装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つのバリヤ(7)は、前記ハウジングにおいて、前記液体捕捉部(2)の一部と、燃料蒸気ラインに接続可能な少なくとも1つのポート(5)との間に配置されている、請求項2記載の液体燃料捕捉装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つのバリヤ(7)は、必ずしもハウジングの幅全体にわたって完全に延びているわけではないが、実質的にハウジングの幅全体にわたって延びている面を有する、請求項2又は3記載の液体燃料捕捉装置。
- 前記面は、前記ハウジングの底部から上方へ約90°以下の角度で、燃料蒸気通路に接続可能なポートに向かう方向に延びている、請求項4記載の液体燃料捕捉装置。
- 前記保持手段(7)は、複数の面を含む、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の液体燃料捕捉装置。
