Abstract
連結モードでMBMSの時間情報を含むユーザサービス記述(User Sercive Description、以下、USD)情報を受信する段階と、時間情報に基づいて受信しようとするMBMSセッションを開始するか否かを判定する段階と、及びMBMSセッションが開始されたと判定する場合、MBMSセッションを受信する段階と、を含むことを特徴とする。本発明によれば、端末は望む時点にMBMSサービスを受信することができ、よりスムーズにMBMSサービスを受けることができる。

Claims (15)
- 無線通信システムでマルチメディア放送サービス(Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service、以下、MBMS)受信方法であって、
連結モードで前記MBMSの時間情報を含むユーザサービス記述(User Sercive Description、以下、USD)情報を受信する段階と、
前記時間情報に基づいて受信しようとするMBMSセッションを開始するか否かを判定する段階と、及び
前記MBMSセッションが開始されたと判定する場合、前記MBMSセッションを受信する段階を含むことを特徴とする受信方法。 - 前記USD情報は周波数情報をさらに含み、
前記MBMSセッションを受信する段階は、
前記MBMSセッションの周波数情報に基づいて前記MBMSセッションを受信することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の受信方法。 - 前記MBMSセッションを受信する段階は、
前記MBMSセッションを受信するか否かを判定する段階と、
前記MBMSセッションが受信されない場合、前記MBMSセッションの時間情報に基づいて前記MBMSセッションが進行中なのか否かを判定する段階と、
前記MBMSセッションが進行中の場合、前記MBMSセッションの周波数情報に基づいて前記MBMSセッションを提供する基地局をセル再選択対象の基地局で選択する段階と、及び
前記MBMSセッションをサービスする基地局から前記MBMSセッションを受信する段階をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の受信方法。 - 前記USD情報を受信する段階は、
上位階層レイヤを通じて受信することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の受信方法。 - 無線通信システムでマルチメディア放送サービス(Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service、以下 MBMS)受信方法であって、
アイドルモードに進入後、キャンピング基地局を選択する段階;
受信しようとするMBMSセッションが開始されることを認知する場合、前記MBMSの周波数情報を含むユーザサービス記述(User Sercive Description、以下、USD)情報が記憶されているのか否かを判定する段階;
前記USD情報が記憶されている場合、前記周波数情報に基づいてセル再選択(Cell Reselection)を実行する段階;及び
前記再選択したセルから前記MBMSセッションを受信する段階を含むことを特徴とする受信方法。 - 複数個のキャリアを受信可能な場合、セル再選択を実行する段階は、
前記周波数情報に基づいて前記MBMSセッションを提供する基地局の周波数と、それと異なる周波数を共に受信することができるのか否かを判定する段階;及び
共に受信することができると判定する場合、前記MBMSセッションを提供する基地局をセル再選択対象の基地局として追加選択する段階を含むことを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の受信方法。 - 前記共に受信することができるのか否かを判定する段階で、
共に受信することができないと判定する場合、前記MBMSセッションを提供する基地局をセル再選択対象の基地局で選択する段階をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の受信方法。 - シングルキャリアを受信可能な場合、セル再選択を実行する段階は、
前記MBMSセッションをサービスする基地局をセル再選択対象の基地局として選択することを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の受信方法。 - 無線通信システムでマルチメディア放送サービス(Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service、以下、MBMS)を受信する端末装置であって、
データを送受信する送受信部;及び
連結モードで前記MBMSの時間情報を含むユーザサービス記述(User Sercive Description、以下、USD)情報を受信し、前記時間情報に基づいて受信しようとするMBMSセッションを開始するか否かを判定し、前記MBMSセッションが開始されたと判定する場合、前記MBMSセッションを受信するように制御する制御部を含むことを特徴とする端末装置。 - 前記USD情報は周波数情報をさらに含み、
前記制御部は、
前記MBMSセッション受信のとき、前記MBMSセッションの周波数情報に基づいて前記MBMSセッションを受信するように制御することを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の端末装置。 - 前記制御部は、
前記MBMSセッション受信のとき、前記MBMSセッションを受信するか否かを判定して、前記MBMSセッションが受信されない場合、前記MBMSセッションの時間情報に基づいて前記MBMSセッションが進行中なのか否かを判定し、前記MBMSセッションが進行中の場合、前記MBMSセッションの周波数情報に基づいて前記MBMSセッションを提供する基地局をセル再選択対象の基地局として選択して、前記MBMSセッションをサービスする基地局から前記MBMSセッションを受信するように制御することを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の端末装置。 - 前記制御部は、
前記USD情報受信のとき、上位階層レイヤを通じて受信するように制御することを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の端末装置。 - 無線通信システムでマルチメディア放送サービス(Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service、以下、MBMS)を受信する端末装置であって、
データを送受信する送受信部と、
ユーザサービス記述(User Sercive Description、以下USD)情報を記憶する記憶部と、
アイドルモードに進入後のキャンピング基地局を選択し、受信しようとするMBMSセッションが開始されると認知する場合、前記記憶部に前記MBMSの周波数情報を含むUSD情報が記憶されているのか否かを判定し、前記USD情報が記憶されている場合、前記周波数情報に基づいてセル再選択(Cell Reselection)を実行し、前記再選択したセルから前記MBMSセッションを受信するように制御する制御部と、を含むことを特徴とする端末装置。 - 前記端末装置が複数個のキャリアを受信可能な場合、
前記制御部は、
セル再選択実行のとき、前記周波数情報に基づいて前記MBMSセッションを提供する基地局の周波数と、それと異なる周波数を共に受信することができるのか否かを判定し、共に受信することができると判定する場合、前記MBMSセッションを提供する基地局をセル再選択対象の基地局として追加選択するように制御することを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の端末装置。 - 前記制御部は、
前記共に受信することができるのか否かを判定するとき、
共に受信することができないと判定する場合、前記MBMSセッションを提供する基地局をセル再選択対象の基地局として選択するように制御することを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の端末装置。
