Abstract
Description
・ 反応流通路内のガス流のCO2濃度は、変化せず、反応流通路について解かれない。したがって、反応流通路領域は、反応流通路と収着剤との界面での一定のCO2濃度境界条件により置き換えられ、解析領域から無視される。
・ 冷却流体は、対流熱伝達として表面から熱を運び去る。したがって、熱交換流通路領域は、バリア層と収着剤との界面での一定の対流熱伝達境界条件により置き換えられ、解析領域から無視される。
・ バリア層は熱を運び去ることしかできない。
・ 収着物体中のCO2吸着は、拡散制限されていない。全厚での収着剤は、CO2に等しく到達できる。
質量収支:CO2吸着は、収着物体、この例においてはゼオライト13Xについて解かれない。収着物体内の拡散は無視される。収着物体のCO2吸着容量は、ラングミュア等温式から予測される。収着物体の容量は温度の関数である。

Claims (5)
- ガス流からCO2を除去するための物品において、
第1端部から第2端部まで延在する複数のセルを画成する外面を有する複数の交差壁であって、
第1群のセルにおける各セルを形成する前記壁が、バリア層により覆われて複数の熱交換流通路を形成しており、
前記第1群のセルとは異なる第2群のセルにおける各セルを形成する前記壁が、CO2収着剤物質を含み、反応流通路を形成している、
複数の交差壁を備えた物品。 - 収着剤物質の成形体を含む、請求項1記載の物品。
- 前記交差壁に固体収着剤が含浸されている、請求項1記載の物品。
- 平方インチ当たり100セル(平方センチメートル当たり約15.5セル)から平方インチ当たり5000セル(平方センチメートル当たり約775セル)のセル密度を有するハニカムの形態にある、請求項1から3いずれか1項記載の物品。
- ガス流からCO2を除去する方法において、
CO2を含むガス流を、請求項1記載の物品の前記反応流通路に接触させ、それによって、該物品上にCO2を吸着させる工程;
前記物品の熱交換流通路に、CO2の吸着により生じる熱を除去するように働く冷却流体を流す工程、および
請求項1記載の物品の前記熱交換流通路に加熱流体を流して、該物品の温度を上昇させ、それによって、吸着されたCO2を放出する工程、
を有してなる方法。
