Abstract
Description
Claims (22)
- 脈管挿入装置であって、
スリーブ内に位置するように構成された穿刺部材と、
使用時に前記穿刺部材を前記スリーブに対して、前記穿刺部材の一端が前記スリーブの一端を越えて突き出る第1の状態と、前記穿刺部材の前記端部が前記スリーブの内部に退避する第2の状態のいずれかに作動させるリトラクト機構と、
を備え、
前記リトラクト機構は、前記穿刺部材の前記端部における外部流体の圧力に応じて、前記穿刺部材を前記第1と第2の状態のいずれかに作動させる、装置。 - 前記穿刺部材は中空であり、前記リトラクト機構と流体連通可能である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記装置は、医療機器を備え、かつ前記穿刺部材は針を備える、請求項1〜2のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記リトラクト機構はチャンバを備える、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記チャンバは休止状態においては実質的に大気圧に維持され、前記チャンバの内部と前記穿刺部材の前記端部における外部圧力との間に圧力勾配がある場合には前記リトラクト機構にトリガを掛けて前記穿刺部材を前記第2の状態へ作動させるように構成された、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記穿刺部材は前記チャンバ内に伸張し、かつ前記チャンバの内部と流体連通するための開口を備える、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記チャンバの内部は、前記穿刺部材の開口を介する以外は、前記装置の外部からは実質的に密閉されている、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記リトラクト機構は、前記穿刺部材の前記端部において、所定またはそれを超える大気圧との圧力差を検知すると、自動的に前記穿刺部材の退避を起動させる、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記リトラクト機構は圧力センサを備える、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記リトラクト機構は、チャンバと、前記チャンバ内の圧力変化に応答して作動可能である隔膜とを備える、請求項8または9に記載の装置。
- 前記リトラクト機構は、前記穿刺部材の前記端部と流体連通するチャンバと、前記チャンバ内部の圧力に依存して前記穿刺部材を解放可能に係合するように構成された係合部材とを備える、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記穿刺部材は、前記第2の状態に向かって付勢され、かつ前記係合部材によって前記第1の状態に解放可能に保持されている、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記穿刺部材はバネによって付勢されている、請求項12に記載の装置。
- リトラクト機構による前記穿刺部材の行程を所定の距離に制限するように構成された停止部材を備える、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記リトラクト機構のためのハウジングを備え、前記穿刺部材は、前記穿刺部材の第1の端部が前記ハウジングから離間し、前記穿刺部材の第2の端部が前記ハウジング内部に装着されるようにして前記ハウジングから支持されている、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記ハウジングは前記スリーブをそこに圧入して収納する形状となっている、請求項15に記載の装置。
- 前記リトラクト機構は、チャンバとそのチャンバ内の電子圧力センサとを備え、さらに、前記穿刺部材の前記第1または前記第2の状態への退避を始動させるように構成されたコントローラを含む、請求項8または9に記載の装置。
- 前記リトラクト機構は電気アクチュエータを含む、請求項17に記載の装置。
- 請求項1〜18のいずれか一項に記載の装置と、
前記穿刺部材をその端部近傍において密接して取り囲むように配置されたスリーブと、を備える、脈管連通アセンブリ。 - 前記スリーブは、前記第1の状態において前記穿刺部材が貫通して突き出る開放端を有し、前記スリーブの開放端は、前記第1の状態においては、前記穿刺部材の端部にすぐ隣接している、請求項18に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記スリーブは、前記リトラクト装置のハウジングの前記穿刺部材の端部から離れた位置に取り外し可能に装着され、前記第1と第2の状態の間に作動される間、前記穿刺部材が前記ハウジングとスリーブの両方に対して退避するようになっている、請求項19または20に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記スリーブはカニューレを備える、請求項19〜21のいずれか一項に記載のアセンブリ。
