Description
従って、新規のハロゲンフリー絶縁材料の開発が引き続き求められている。
(i)AWG56〜AWG26の内の1つ
(ii)呼称断面積が0.000122〜0.128mm2(ASTM B256−02に準拠してAWG56〜AWG26に対応)
(iii)呼称径が0.0124〜0.404mm(UL1581、第4版、表20.1に準拠してAWG56〜AWG26に対応)。
該被覆導体の絶縁層の厚みは0.010〜0.85mmであり得る。
(i)AWG24〜AWG5の内の1つ
(ii)横断面積が0.205〜16.8mm2(ASTM B256−02に準拠してAWG24〜AWG5に対応)
(iii)呼称径が0.511〜4.62mm(UL1581、第4版、表20.1に準拠してAWG24〜AWG5に対応)。
一部の実施形態では、該被覆導体の絶縁層の厚みは0.25〜8mmである。

Claims (42)
- クロスヘッドダイ装置を通して熱可塑性組成物を押出して導体を前記熱可塑性組成物で押出被覆し、これによって、前記導体とその上に配置された絶縁層とを備える被覆導体を形成するステップであって、
前記クロスヘッドダイ装置は、ダイと螺旋チャネルを含むダイインサートとを備え、
前記押出ステップは、前記螺旋チャネルを通って前記ダイに向かう前記熱可塑性組成物の移動を含み、
前記熱可塑性組成物は、別の基準が明記されない限り、その合計質量に対して、約5〜約60質量%のポリ(アリーレンエーテル)と、アルケニル芳香族化合物と共役ジエンとの、約5〜約70質量%の水素化ブロックコポリマーと、約2〜約40質量%の難燃剤と、を含むことを特徴とするステップを備える被覆導体の形成方法。 - 前記ダイインサートは少なくとも2つの螺旋チャネルを備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 横断面で見た前記絶縁層は、少なくとも2つのウェルドラインを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記螺旋チャネルは螺旋軸を画定し、前記螺旋チャネルは、前記螺旋軸周りの少なくとも0.5回転を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ダイインサートは、前記螺旋チャネルと液連通する逆行チャネルをさらに備え、押出ステップは、前記螺旋チャネルを通る熱可塑性組成物の前記移動前に、前記逆行チャネルを通る前記熱可塑性組成物の移動を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記熱可塑性組成物の押出ステップは、約255〜約310℃の温度で前記熱可塑性組成物を押出すステップを備えることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記ポリ(アリーレンエーテル)は、25℃のクロロホルム中で測定した固有粘度が約0.4〜約0.5dL/gのポリ(2,6−ジメチル−1,4−フェニレンエーテル)を含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記熱可塑性組成物は、約10〜約15質量%の前記水素化ブロックコポリマーを含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記水素化ブロックコポリマーは、高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーであって、前記高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーの質量に対して約40〜約90質量%のポリ(アルケニル芳香族)を含む高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーを、前記熱可塑性組成物の合計質量に対して少なくとも約3質量%含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記水素化ブロックコポリマーは、高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーであって、前記高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーの質量に対して約40〜約50質量%のポリ(アルケニル芳香族)を含む高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーを、前記熱可塑性組成物の合計質量に対して約10〜約15質量%含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記難燃剤は、有機リン酸エステル、金属ジアルキルホスフィネート、窒素含有難燃剤、金属水酸化物およびこれらの混合物から構成される群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記難燃剤は有機リン酸エステルを含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記難燃剤は、1つまたは複数の有機リン酸エステルから構成されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記難燃剤は金属ホスフィネートを含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記難燃剤はメラミンシアヌレートを含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記難燃剤は、有機リン酸エステルとメラミンシアヌレートとを含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記熱可塑性組成物は、約2〜約45質量%のポリオレフィンをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記ポリオレフィンは、プロピレンホモポリマー、エチレン/α−オレフィンコポリマーおよびこれらの混合物から構成される群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリオレフィンはエチレン/1−ヘキセンコポリマーを含むことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記ダイインサートは少なくとも4つの螺旋チャネルを備え;
前記熱可塑性組成物は、約37〜約55質量%の前記ポリ(アリーレンエーテル)と、約7〜約15質量%の前記水素化ブロックコポリマーと、約7〜約12質量%の難燃剤と、を含み;
前記ポリ(アリーレンエーテル)は、25℃のクロロホルム中で測定した固有粘度が約0.40〜約0.50dL/gのポリ(2,6−ジメチル−1,4−フェニレンエーテル)を含み;
該水素化ブロックコポリマーは、高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーであって、その高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーの質量に対して約40〜約90質量%のポリ(アルケニル芳香族)を含む高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーを、前記熱可塑性組成物の合計質量に対して少なくとも約5〜約15質量%含み;
前記水素化ブロックコポリマーは、約5〜約15質量%の高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーを含み;
前記難燃剤は、1つまたは複数の有機リン酸エステルから構成され;
前記熱可塑性組成物は、プロピレンホモポリマー、エチレン/α−オレフィンコポリマーおよびこれらの混合物から構成される群から選択された、約25〜約39質量%のポリオレフィンをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記被覆導体は、ISO 6722(2006)、Section11.6のクラスC温湿度サイクル試験に合格することを特徴とする請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記ダイインサートは少なくとも4つの螺旋チャネルを備え;
前記熱可塑性組成物は、約35〜約45質量%の前記ポリ(アリーレンエーテル)と、約10〜約16質量%の前記水素化ブロックコポリマーと、約7〜約12質量%の前記難燃剤と、を含み;
該ポリ(アリーレンエーテル)は、25℃のクロロホルム中で測定した固有粘度が約0.40〜約0.50dL/gのポリ(2,6−ジメチル−1,4−フェニレンエーテル)を含み;
前記水素化ブロックコポリマーは、約10〜約16質量%の高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーを含み;
前記水素化ブロックコポリマーは、高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーであって、その高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーの質量に対して約40〜約50質量%のポリ(アルケニル芳香族)を含む高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーを、前記熱可塑性組成物の合計質量に対して約10〜約16質量%含み;
前記難燃剤は、1つまたは複数の有機リン酸エステルから構成され;
前記熱可塑性組成物は、エチレン/1−ヘキセンコポリマーを含む、約30〜約40質量%のポリオレフィンをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記被覆導体は、ISO 6722(2006)、Section10.1のクラスC長期熱劣化試験およびISO6722(2006)、Section11.6のクラスC温湿度サイクル試験に合格することを特徴とする請求項22に記載の方法。
- 導体と、前記導体上に配置された絶縁層と、を備え;
前記絶縁層は熱可塑性組成物を含んでおり、前記熱可塑性組成物は、別の基準が明記されない限り、その合計質量に対して、約5〜約60質量%のポリ(アリーレンエーテル)と、アルケニル芳香族化合物と共役ジエンとの、約5〜約70質量%の水素化ブロックコポリマーと、約2〜約40質量%の難燃剤と、を含み;
横断面で見た前記絶縁層は、少なくとも2本のウェルドラインを有することを特徴とする被覆導体。 - 横断面で見た前記絶縁層は少なくとも4本のウェルドラインを有することを特徴とする請求項24に記載の被覆導体。
- 前記ポリ(アリーレンエーテル)は、25℃のクロロホルム中で測定した固有粘度が約0.4〜約0.5dL/gのポリ(2,6−ジメチル−1,4−フェニレンエーテル)を含むことを特徴とする請求項24に記載の被覆導体。
- 前記熱可塑性組成物は、約10〜約15質量%の前記水素化ブロックコポリマーを含むことを特徴とする請求項24に記載の被覆導体。
- 前記水素化ブロックコポリマーは、高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーであって、前記高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーの質量に対して約40〜約90質量%のポリ(アルケニル芳香族)を含む高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーを、前記熱可塑性組成物の合計質量に対して少なくとも約3質量%含むことを特徴とする請求項24に記載の被覆導体。
- 前記水素化ブロックコポリマーは、高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーであって、前記高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーの質量に対して約40〜約50質量%のポリ(アルケニル芳香族)を含む高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーを、前記熱可塑性組成物の合計質量に対して約10〜約15質量%含むことを特徴とする請求項24に記載の被覆導体。
- 前記難燃剤は、有機リン酸エステル、金属ジアルキルホスフィネート、窒素含有難燃剤、金属水酸化物およびこれらの混合物から構成される群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項24乃至請求項29のいずれかに記載の被覆導体。
- 前記難燃剤は有機リン酸エステルを含むことを特徴とする請求項24乃至請求項29のいずれかに記載の被覆導体。
- 前記難燃剤は、1つまたは複数の有機リン酸エステルから構成されることを特徴とする請求項24乃至請求項29のいずれかに記載の被覆導体。
- 前記難燃剤は金属ホスフィネートを含むことを特徴とする請求項24乃至請求項29のいずれかに記載の被覆導体。
- 前記難燃剤はメラミンシアヌレートを含むことを特徴とする請求項24乃至請求項29のいずれかに記載の被覆導体。
- 前記難燃剤は、有機リン酸エステルとメラミンシアヌレートとを含むことを特徴とする請求項24乃至請求項29のいずれかに記載の被覆導体。
- 前記熱可塑性組成物は、約2〜約45質量%のポリオレフィンをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項24乃至請求項29のいずれかに記載の被覆導体。
- 前記ポリオレフィンは、プロピレンホモポリマー、エチレン/α−オレフィンコポリマーおよびこれらの混合物から構成される群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項36に記載の被覆導体。
- 前記ポリオレフィンはエチレン/1−ヘキセンコポリマーを含むことを特徴とする請求項36に記載の被覆導体。
- 前記熱可塑性組成物は、約37〜約55質量%の前記ポリ(アリーレンエーテル)と、約7〜約15質量%の前記水素化ブロックコポリマーと、約7〜約12質量%の難燃剤と、を含み;
前記ポリ(アリーレンエーテル)は、25℃のクロロホルム中で測定した固有粘度が約0.40〜約0.50dL/gのポリ(2,6−ジメチル−1,4−フェニレンエーテル)を含み;
該水素化ブロックコポリマーは、高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーであって、その高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーの質量に対して約40〜約90質量%のポリ(アルケニル芳香族)を含む高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーを、前記熱可塑性組成物の合計質量に対して少なくとも約5〜約15質量%含み;
前記水素化ブロックコポリマーは、約5〜約15質量%の高ポリ(アルケニル芳香族)含量水素化ブロックコポリマーを含み;
前記難燃剤は、1つまたは複数の有機リン酸エステルから構成され;
前記熱可塑性組成物は、プロピレンホモポリマー、エチレン/α−オレフィンコポリマーおよびこれらの混合物から構成される群から選択された、約25〜約39質量%のポリオレフィンをさらに含み;
