Claims (14)
- ナノスケールまたはマイクロスケールで1つ以上の材料を混合する方法であって、
(a)容器に1つ以上の材料を加えることと、
(b)この容器に、粒径が約5nm〜約50nmであって、ポリマーシェル中に封入された磁気粒子を加えることと、
(c)この磁気粒子に、別の一定磁場によってバイアスされた変動磁場を加え、磁気粒子を移動させ、この容器内で前記1つ以上の材料をナノスケールまたはマイクロスケールで混合することと、
(d)望ましい粒径が得られるまで、前記容器内で、前記1つ以上の材料を混合することと、
(e)その後に、再使用するために磁気粒子を集めることとを含む、方法。 - 前記1つ以上の材料が、トナー、インク、ワックス、塗料または感光体材料を製造するために用いられる材料を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記磁気粒子は、常磁性、強磁性、フェリ磁性または反強磁性の材料で構成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 約5〜約80体積%の磁性粒子を容器に加える、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記磁場は、強度が約500ガウス〜約50,000ガウスである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記磁場が1つ以上の電磁石を介して加えられる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記磁場が、環状に、上下に、左右に、または三角形の動きで磁気粒子を動かすように加えられる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記1つ以上の電磁石は、均一な角距離を有する環状のパターンになるように置かれている、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記変動磁場は、永久磁石を動かすことによって加えられる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ナノスケールまたはマイクロスケールで1つ以上の材料を混合する方法であって、
(a)粒径が約5nm〜約50nmであって、ポリマーシェル中に封入された磁気粒子をあらかじめ入れることと、
(b)この容器に1つ以上の材料を加えることと、
(c)この磁気粒子に、前記容器の外側の磁場源から、別の一定磁場によってバイアスされた変動磁場を加え、磁気粒子を移動させ、この容器内で前記1つ以上の材料をナノスケールまたはマイクロスケールで混合することと、
(d)望ましい粒径が得られるまで、前記容器中で、前記1つ以上の材料を混合することと、
(e)その後に、再使用するために磁気粒子を集めることとを含む、方法。 - 前記磁気粒子は、常磁性、強磁性、フェリ磁性または反強磁性の材料で構成される、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記磁場は、強度が約500ガウス〜約50,000ガウスである、請求項1に記載の方法。
