Abstract
【解決手段】圧縮空気を用いて、LNGタンク1の内部で発生したボイルオフガスを燃焼させることにより加圧排ガスを生成するガス燃焼器31と、空気圧縮用ガスタービン34により加圧排ガスの膨張過程で生成される動力を用いて空気を圧縮することにより圧縮空気を生成する圧縮機36と、空気圧縮用ガスタービン34と異なる動力回収ガスタービン35により加圧排ガスを用いて生成される回収動力を利用する負荷37とを備えている。このようなタンク内圧抑制装置は、空気圧縮用ガスタービン34により生成される動力を負荷37が利用する他のタンク内圧抑制装置10に比較して、より容易に構成することができる。

Description
一方、LNGは後述する昇圧ポンプ11で高圧とし、液体状態のまま後述する熱交換器16により昇温して、高温LNGとなる。エンジン2は、タンク内圧抑制装置10から供給された高温LNGを燃焼することにより動力を生成する。推進装置3は、エンジン2により生成された動力を用いて、船舶本体を推進させる推進力を生成する。
一方、タンク内圧抑制装置10は、空気圧縮用ガスタービン34と別個の冷媒ガス圧縮用ガスタービン35により生成される回転動力を冷媒ガス圧縮機37が利用する。すなわち、ガス燃焼器31により生成された加圧排ガスを空気圧縮用ガスタービン34と別個の冷媒ガス圧縮用ガスタービン35に分けて供給することにより、空気圧縮用ガスタービン34と空気圧縮機36と冷媒ガス圧縮機37とが直線上に一列に配置される必要がなく、または、回転動力の回転軸の向きを変える装置を備える必要がなく、より容易に作製されることができる。このため、タンク内圧抑制装置10は、より容易に船舶本体に設置されることができる。
また、ボイルオフガスをガス燃焼器31で燃焼させた加圧排ガスを利用して動力回収することで、冷凍機7を稼働させて、LNGとボイルオフガスとを安定して冷却することにより、LNGタンク1の内圧の上昇をより安定して抑制することができる。

Claims (10)
- 圧縮空気を用いて、タンクの内部で発生したボイルオフガスを燃焼させることにより加圧排ガスを生成するガス燃焼器と、
前記加圧排ガスを分岐して用いて複数の動力をそれぞれ生成する複数のガスタービンと、
前記複数のガスタービンのうちの空気圧縮用ガスタービンにより生成される動力により空気を圧縮して前記圧縮空気を生成する圧縮機と、
前記複数のガスタービンのうちの前記空気圧縮用ガスタービンと異なる動力回収ガスタービンにより生成される回収動力を利用する負荷とを備えるタンク内圧抑制装置。 - 前記ガス燃焼器は、前記複数のガスタービンに対応する複数のガス燃焼器要素を備え、
前記複数のガスタービンのうちの任意のガスタービンは、前記複数のガス燃焼器要素のうちの前記任意のガスタービンに対応する対応ガス燃焼器要素により生成される加圧排ガスを用いて動力を生成する請求項1に記載されるタンク内圧抑制装置。 - 高圧冷媒ガスを用いて前記LNGを冷却することにより生成された低温LNGを前記タンクに供給する冷凍機をさらに備え、
前記負荷は、前記回収動力を用いて低圧冷媒ガスを圧縮することにより前記高圧冷媒ガスを生成する請求項1〜請求項2のうちのいずれか一項に記載されるタンク内圧抑制装置。 - 前記冷凍機は、
前記高圧冷媒ガスを冷却することにより低温高圧冷媒ガスを生成する第1熱交換器と、
前記低温高圧冷媒ガスを断熱膨張させることにより低温低圧冷媒ガスを生成する膨張タービンと、
前記低温低圧冷媒ガスを用いて、タンクに貯留されるLNGを冷却することにより低温LNGを生成する第2熱交換器とを備え、
前記第1熱交換器と第2熱交換器とは、さらに、前記低温低圧冷媒ガスを加熱することにより前記低圧冷媒ガスを生成する請求項3に記載されるタンク内圧抑制装置。 - 前記冷凍機は、前記ボイルオフガスを液化することにより液化ボイルオフガスを生成するコンデンサをさらに備え、
前記第2熱交換器は、さらに、前記液化ボイルオフガスを冷却することにより生成された低温液化ボイルオフガスを前記タンクに供給し、
前記コンデンサは、さらに、前記低温低圧冷媒ガスを加熱する請求項4に記載されるタンク内圧抑制装置。 - 蓄冷熱システムをさらに備え、
前記第2熱交換器は、さらに、低温冷媒ガスを冷却することにより生成された液化冷媒ガスを前記蓄冷熱システムに貯留し、前記液化冷媒ガスをさらに用いて前記LNGを冷却する請求項3〜請求項5のうちのいずれか一項に記載されるタンク内圧抑制装置。 - 高温冷媒ガスを用いて、前記LNGを加熱することにより高温LNGを生成するLNG加熱装置をさらに備え、
前記冷凍機は、さらに、前記低温冷媒ガスを加熱することにより前記高温冷媒ガスを生成し、
前記LNG加熱装置は、さらに、前記高温冷媒ガスを冷却することにより前記低温冷媒ガスを生成する請求項6に記載されるタンク内圧抑制装置。 - 請求項7に記載されるタンク内圧抑制装置と、
前記高温LNGを用いて推進用動力を生成するエンジンと、
前記推進用動力を用いて船舶本体を推進させる推進装置とを備える船舶。 - 圧縮空気を用いてボイルオフガスを燃焼させることにより加圧排ガスを生成すること、
複数のガスタービンのうちの空気圧縮用ガスタービンにより前記加圧排ガスを用いて生成される動力を用いて空気を圧縮することにより前記圧縮空気を生成すること、
前記複数のガスタービンのうちの前記空気圧縮用ガスタービンと異なる動力回収ガスタービンにより前記加圧排ガスを用いて生成される回収動力を用いて負荷を動作させることとを備えるタンク内圧抑制方法。 - LNGを貯留するタンクの内部で発生したボイルオフガスを冷却することにより液化ボイルオフガスを生成し、前記液化ボイルオフガスを前記タンクに供給する冷凍機と、
高温冷媒ガスを用いて、前記LNGを加熱することにより高温LNGを生成するLNG加熱装置とを備え、
前記冷凍機は、さらに、低温冷媒ガスを加熱することにより前記高温冷媒ガスを生成し、
前記LNG加熱装置は、さらに、前記高温冷媒ガスを冷却することにより前記低温冷媒ガスを生成するタンク内圧抑制装置。
