Abstract
【解決手段】処理される液晶20を流す液晶供給部24とイオン吸着剤12を流す吸着剤供給部22とを有する。吸着剤供給部22と液晶供給部24に、各々開口部22a,24aを形成し、開口部22a,24a同士を対面させて配置し、各開口部22a,24aを閉鎖するとともに隔離する1枚のフィルタ16を備える。吸着剤供給部22のフィルタ16側とは反対側に電極14を備え、液晶20とイオン吸着剤12をフィルタ16の表裏に接触させ、イオン吸着剤12に電極14により電場をかけて、液晶20中の不純物イオン20aを、イオン吸着剤12側に引き寄せて、液晶20中から除去する。

Claims (5)
- 処理される液晶とイオン吸着剤を、多数の微細孔が形成されたフィルタの表裏に接触させ、前記イオン吸着剤に電場をかけて、前記フィルタを介して、前記液晶中の不純物イオンの電荷とは反対の極性の領域を前記フィルタに接した前記イオン吸着剤に形成し、前記液晶中の不純物イオンを、前記フィルタを介した浸透圧の差により、前記イオン吸着剤側に引き寄せて前記液晶中から除去することを特徴とする液晶の不純物除去方法。
- 前記不純物イオンは、プラスイオンであり、前記イオン吸着剤の前記フィルタに接している側とは反対側にマイナスの電場をかけて、前記フィルタ側の前記イオン吸着剤のプラスイオンを減少させ、前記フィルタを介して前記不純物イオンを前記イオン吸着剤側に引き寄せる請求項1記載の液晶の不純物除去方法。
- 処理される液晶を流す液晶供給部とイオン吸着剤を流す吸着剤供給部とを設け、前記液晶供給部と前記吸着剤供給部に各々開口部を形成し、この開口部同士を対面させて配置し前記各開口部を閉鎖するとともに隔離する1枚のフィルタを設け、前記吸着剤供給部の前記フィルタ側とは反対側に電極を備え、前記液晶と前記イオン吸着剤を前記フィルタの表裏に接触させ、前記イオン吸着剤に前記電極により電場をかけて、前記液晶中の不純物イオンを前記イオン吸着剤側に引き寄せて前記液晶中から除去することを特徴とする液晶の不純物除去装置。
- 前記イオン吸着剤は、イオン交換樹脂である請求項3記載の液晶の不純物除去装置。
- 前記液晶供給部と前記吸着剤供給部には、前記フィルタを挟んで、互いに反対方向に流れて供給される請求項3記載の液晶の不純物除去装置。
