Abstract

Claims (10)
- 圧電作動流体ディスペンサを使用して流体特性を測定する方法であって、
圧電素子を使用して前記圧電作動流体ディスペンサ内のチャネルに圧力波を生成することと、
前記圧電素子を使用して、前記生成に起因する前記チャネル内の残留圧力振動を検出することと、
前記圧力振動の共振周波数を取得することと、
前記共振周波数を使用して、前記流体特性を決定することと、を備える、方法。 - 前記流体特性が、粘性および音速のうち一方である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記特性が音速である場合、前記共振周波数に、前記チャネルの特性による定数を乗ずることをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記特性が音速である場合、前記圧電素子を使用して前記圧電作動流体ディスペンサ内の前記チャネルに、それぞれが異なる滞留時間を有する複数の圧力波を生成することと、
前記共振周波数でパワースペクトルの振幅での振動周期を決定することと、
前記振動周期の関数として前記音速を決定することとをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記特性が粘性である場合、前記方法は、前記残留圧力振動のパワースペクトルにおける共振ピークの幅を計算することと、前記幅に基づき、前記粘性を決定することとをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 流体特性を測定するためのシステムであって、
チャネルを備え、流体を定量供給するよう構成され、流体を含有するよう構成された圧電作動流体ディスペンサと、
前記チャネル内に圧力波を生成するよう構成され、前記チャネル内の残留圧力振動を示すプロセッサに信号を供給するようさらに構成された圧電素子と、
前記圧力振動の共振周波数を取得するよう構成されたプロセッサと、
前記共振周波数に基づいて、前記流体特性を決定するよう構成されたプロセッサと、を備える、システム。 - 前記流体特性が、粘性および音速のうち一方である、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記特性が音速である場合、前記システムは、前記共振周波数に、前記チャネルの特性による定数を乗ずるよう構成されたプロセッサをさらに備える、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記特性が音速である場合、前記圧電素子は、前記チャネルに、それぞれが異なる滞留時間を有する複数の圧力波を生成するよう構成され、プロセッサが、前記共振周波数でパワースペクトルの振幅での振動周期を決定するよう構成され、およびプロセッサが、前記振動周期の関数として前記音速を決定するよう構成される、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記特性が粘性である場合、前記システムは、前記残留圧力振動のパワースペクトルにおける共振ピークの幅を計算するよう構成されたプロセッサと、前記幅に基づき、前記粘性を決定するよう構成されたプロセッサとをさらに備える、請求項6に記載の方法。
