Description
例えば、肺動脈カテーテル法では、カテーテルを頸静脈から右心房を経て肺動脈まで挿入する。そして、カテーテルに設けられたバルーンを肺動脈に楔入して一時的に血流を遮断し、その間にカテーテルの先端に作用した静圧力を計測する。計測された静圧力すなわち肺動脈楔入圧(pulmonary capillary wedge pressure:PCWP)が左心房圧(LAP)の代用とされる。計測精度は高いとされるが極めて侵襲的である。また、カテーテルを適切な位置に挿入するにはオペレーターの高い熟練が要求される。
公知技術により、頸静脈圧又は末梢静脈圧の計測は非侵襲に計測できる。
よって、第9の発明によれば第1〜第8の何れかと同様の効果が得られるのは勿論のこと、右心房圧を非侵襲に計測できる。
