Abstract
【解決手段】賦形剤修飾剤及びゲル化剤としての、特定構造のシクロヘキシル−マンニトールジケタール誘導体。該誘導体はゲル化剤として、相転移インクの総重量の0.25〜10重量%で使用する。

Description
インク組成物は、任意で着色剤を含んでよい。任意の所望の、または有効な着色剤を、インク組成物において用いてよく、染料、顔料、これらの混合物等が挙げられるが、着色剤がインク担体中に溶解または分散することができることを条件とする。顔料(概して、染料よりも安価であり、かつロバストである)が、特定の実施形態において含まれてよい。多くの染料の色は、硬化ステージ中に起こる重合プロセスによって、変えられ得る(おそらく、遊離ラジカルによる分子構造の攻撃に由来する)。組成物は、従来のインク−着色剤材料(Color Index(C.I.)Solvent Dyes、Disperse Dyes、修飾AcidおよびDirect Dyes、Basic Dyes、Sulphur Dyes、Vat Dyes等)と組み合わせて使用されてよい。
インクセットの1つまたは複数のインクのインク賦形剤は、さらなる任意の添加剤を含んでよい。任意の添加剤として、界面活性剤、光安定剤(入射するUV照射線を吸収して、最終的に散逸する熱エネルギーに変換する)、抗酸化剤、光学増白剤(画像の外観を向上させ、かつ黄変をマスクすることができる)、チキソトロープ剤、デウェッティング剤、スリップ剤、発泡剤、消泡剤、流動性向上剤(flow agent)、他の非硬化性ワックス、オイル、可塑剤、結合剤、電気導電剤、殺真菌剤、殺細菌剤、有機および/または無機フィラー粒子、均展剤(様々な光沢度を生じさせる、または引き下げる剤である)、乳白剤、帯電防止剤、分散剤等を挙げることができる。

ゲル化剤ゲルの調製
実施例3で調製した100mgのゲル化剤を、10mLの100℃のドデカン溶媒中に溶解した。生じた清澄な溶液を室温に冷やすと、軟質の清澄な自立ゲルが形成された。
滴点試験
炭化水素流体を、ASTM D−566滴点試験に記載される方法を用いて試験した。表1は、C6(ヘキサン)、C12(ドデカン)およびC16(ヘキサデカン)炭化水素流体中の、1、3、および5重量%ゲル化剤ローディングでの、シクロヘキサン−マンニトールゲル化剤の滴点結果を要約している。
Claims (10)
- 各R1およびR2が独立して、アルキルまたはアリールである、請求項1に記載のゲル化剤。
- 各R1およびR2が独立して、メチル、エチル、n−プロピル、イソプロピル、n−ブチル、i−ブチル、t−ブチルまたは任意に置換されたフェニルである、請求項1に記載のゲル化剤。
- mは1であり、nは1である、請求項1に記載のゲル化剤。
- R1およびR2は同じである、請求項4に記載のゲル化剤。
- ゲル化剤が、相転移インクの総重量の約0.25重量%〜約10重量%の量で存在する、請求項8に記載の相転移インク。
- ゲル化剤が、賦形剤の約0.5重量%〜約10重量%の濃度にて、滴点が約40℃〜約70℃のゲルを形成することができる、請求項8に記載の相転移インク。
