Abstract
【課題】 周縁端面で円形綿不織布がばらけにくい円盤状研磨バフを提供する。
【解決手段】 この円盤状研磨バフは、円形綿不織布が複数枚積層されてなる。円形綿不織布は、木綿繊維相互間を三次元的に交絡してなるものである。積層された各円形綿不織布は、その隣り合う円形綿不織布同士が水素結合によって接合されている。水素結合は、隣り合う各円形綿不織布中の木綿繊維相互間で生じている。かかる水素結合は、円形綿不織布を複数枚積層した円柱体を、軸方向に全体に加圧しながら養生することによって生じる。円形綿不織布は、木綿繊維が集積されてなる繊維ウェブに水流を施して、木綿繊維相互間を三次元的に交絡したものであるのが好ましい。

Claims (3)
- 木綿繊維相互間を三次元的に交絡してなる円形綿不織布を複数枚積層すると共に、隣り合う円形綿不織布同士は各円形綿不織布中の木綿繊維相互間の水素結合によって接合されていることを特徴とする円盤状研磨バフ。
- 円形綿不織布は、木綿繊維が集積されてなる繊維ウェブに水流を施して、木綿繊維相互間を三次元的に交絡したものである請求項1記載の円盤状研磨バフ。
- 木綿繊維相互間を三次元的に交絡してなる円形綿不織布を複数枚積層した円柱体を、軸方向に全体に加圧しながら養生することによって、隣り合う各円形綿不織布同士を、各円形綿不織布中の木綿繊維相互間の水素結合によって接合することを特徴とする円盤状研磨バフの製造方法。
