Abstract
【解決手段】表示装置は光を発生するバックライトアセンブリ及び光を受信して映像を表示する表示パネルを含む。バックライトアセンブリは光を出射する光源及び導光板を含む。導光板は光源から光を入射面を通じて入射光として取り入れ、入射光を出射面を通じて出射光として出射する。また、導光板は第1光学パターン及び第2光学パターンを含む。第1光学パターンは出射面の第1領域に対応して位置し、第1光学パターンは入射光を集光する。第2光学パターンは第1領域を除外した出射面の残り領域に定義される第2領域に対応して位置し、第2光学パターンは出射光を集光する。

Claims (10)
- 光を発生するバックライトアセンブリと、
バックライトアセンブリから発生した光を受信して光を用いて映像を表示する表示パネルと、を含み、
バックライトアセンブリは、
光を出射する光源と、
光源から出射された光を入射面を通じて入射光として受信し、入射光を出射面を通じて出射光として出射する導光板と、を含み、
導光板は、
出射面の第1領域に対応して位置し、入射光を集光する第1光学パターンと、
第1領域を除外した出射面の残り領域である第2領域に対応して位置し、出射光を集光する第2光学パターンを含む表示装置。 - 入射光は第2光学パターンによって屈折されて出射面を通じて出射されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 第1光学パターンは少なくとも1つの第1突出部を含み、
第2光学パターンは少なくとも1つの第2突出部を含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の表示装置。 - 第1突出部は導光版の入射面と垂直である第1方向へ延長され、第2突出部は導光版の入射面と平行である第2方向へ延長されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の表示装置。
- 導光板は、
第2領域に対応して配置される少なくとも1つのドット部をさらに含み、
第2光学パターンはドット部の上部面に配置されたことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の表示装置。 - ドット部の幅は10μm乃至800μmであることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の表示装置。
- ドット部、第1光学パターン、及び第2光学パターンは導光板の一面上に一体的に形成されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の表示装置。
- ドット部は多数提供され、多数に提供されたドット部は互いに離隔されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の表示装置。
- 第2領域に対応して導光板は所定の深さに除去された少なくとも1つのドット溝を含み、第2光学パターンはドット溝の内部に配置されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の表示装置。
- ドット溝の幅は10μm乃至800μmであることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の表示装置。
