しかしながら、被写体が異なる光源周波数を持つ複数の光源によって照明されている場合には、前記各種技法によってフリッカを防ぐことができない。例えば、被写体が100[Hz]の光源周波数の蛍光灯と120[Hz]の光源周波数の蛍光灯で照明されている場合がある。この場合、撮像装置のシャッター速度を1/100[秒]としたときには120[Hz]のフリッカが、またシャッター速度を1/120[秒]としたときには100[Hz]のフリッカが、それぞれ認識されることとなる。
