Abstract
Description
Claims (13)
- 照明装置であり、前記照明装置の輝度出力にデータ信号の1つ以上のデータシンボルを埋め込むための照明装置であって、前記照明装置が、
少なくとも第1セグメント及び第2セグメントを有する発光ダイオードであって、前記第1セグメント及び前記第2セグメントが、共通の電極を持ち、個々に制御可能であり、前記発光ダイオードが、駆動信号に応じて前記輝度出力を生成するよう構成される発光ダイオードと、
前記データ信号の前記1つ以上のデータシンボルを埋め込むために前記データ信号に応じて前記第2セグメントをオン又はオフへ切り替えるよう構成される制御器とを有する照明装置。 - 変調度が、前記第1セグメント及び/又は前記第2セグメントのサイズに比例する請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 変調度が、前記第1セグメント及び/又は前記第2セグメントを流れる電流密度に比例する請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記共通の電極が陰極を有する請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の照明装置。
- 前記共通の電極が陽極を有する請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の照明装置。
- 前記発光ダイオードが薄膜フリップチップ装置を有する請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の照明装置。
- 請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載の照明装置を1つ以上有する照明システム。
- 発光ダイオードの輝度出力にデータ信号の1つ以上のデータシンボルを埋め込むための方法であって、
少なくとも第1セグメント及び第2セグメントを有する前記発光ダイオードであって、前記第1セグメント及び前記第2セグメントが、共通の電極を持ち、個々に制御可能であり、前記発光ダイオードが、駆動信号に応じて前記輝度出力を生成するよう構成される前記発光ダイオードに駆動信号を供給するステップと、
前記データ信号の前記1つ以上のデータシンボルを埋め込むために前記データ信号に応じて前記第2セグメントをオン又はオフへ切り替えるステップとを有する方法。 - 変調度が、前記第1セグメント及び/又は前記第2セグメントのサイズに比例する請求項8に記載の方法。
- 変調度が、前記第1セグメント及び/又は前記第2セグメントを流れる電流密度に比例する請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記共通の電極が陰極を有する請求項8乃至10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記共通の電極が陽極を有する請求項8乃至10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記発光ダイオードが薄膜フリップチップ装置を有する請求項8乃至12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
