Abstract
Description
Claims (20)
- 少なくとも一つの光源と;
選択的に修正された正弦波信号であって、正弦波信号の各サイクルの選択可能な前端部または後端部が実質的に除去されている信号を受領し、整流された電圧を出力する整流器と;
前記少なくとも一つの光源を駆動するために前記整流器の出力電圧を適応させるDC/DC変換器と;
ダンピング回路とを有する装置であって、前記ダンピング回路は:
前記選択的に修正された正弦波信号に応じて前記整流器によって前記DC変換器に出力される電流を減衰させるダンピング要素と、
前記ダンピング要素と並列に配置されたスイッチと、
前記整流器によって出力される電流を検出する検出器と、
検出された電流がある閾値を超えるときに前記スイッチをオフになるよう制御するとともに検出された電流が前記閾値より小さいときに前記スイッチをオンにして前記ダンピング要素をバイパスするよう制御する制御ユニットとを有する、
装置。 - 前記検出器が抵抗器である、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記スイッチがMOSFETである、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記検出器が前記整流器の電流出力経路と直列な抵抗器である、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記制御ユニットが、前記抵抗器を流れる電流によってバイアスが制御されるトランジスタを有し、前記トランジスタは、検出された電流が閾値を超えるときに前記スイッチをオフにし、検出された電流が閾値より小さいときに前記スイッチをオンにして前記ダンピング要素をバイパスするよう制御するよう、前記バイアスに応答する出力を有する、請求項4記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも一つの光源が一つまたは複数の発光ダイオードを有する、請求項1記載の装置。
- AC源と前記整流器の間に設けられた減光器をさらに有する、請求項1記載の装置。
- 少なくとも一つの光源を駆動するためにAC信号をDC信号に変換するよう構成された装置(200、500)のための回路(236、300、400、536)であって、当該回路は、前記装置内の電流が閾値を超える時間期間の間は前記装置内の前記電流をダンプさせるよう構成されたダンピング要素と、前記電流が前記閾値を超えない時間期間の間は前記ダンピング要素をバイパスするためのバイパス経路(340、440)とを有する、
回路。 - 前記ダンピング要素が抵抗器を含む、請求項8記載の回路。
- 前記バイパス経路が前記ダンピング要素と並列に配置されたスイッチを含む、請求項8記載の回路。
- 前記スイッチがMOSFETを含む、請求項10記載の回路。
- 前記電流を検出する検出器と;
検出された電流が前記閾値を超えるときに前記スイッチをオフになるよう制御するとともに検出された電流が前記閾値より小さいときに前記スイッチをオンにして前記ダンピング要素をバイパスさせるよう制御する制御ユニットとをさらに有する、
請求項9記載の回路。 - 前記検出器が抵抗器を含む、請求項12記載の回路。
- 前記制御回路は、前記抵抗器を流れる電流によってバイアスが制御されるトランジスタを有し、前記トランジスタは、検出された電流が前記閾値を超えるときに前記スイッチをオフにし、検出された電流が前記閾値より小さいときに前記スイッチをオンにして前記ダンピング要素をバイパスするよう制御するよう前記バイアスに応答する出力を有する、請求項13記載の回路。
- 少なくとも一つの光源を駆動する方法であって:
前記少なくとも一つの光源を駆動するためにAC信号をDC信号に変換するよう構成された装置(200、500)中の電流が閾値を超えるかどうかを判定し;
前記電流が前記閾値をこえるときはダンピング要素により前記電流をダンプさせ;
前記電流が前記閾値を超えないときは、前記ダンピング要素をバイパスして、前記ダンピング要素が前記電流をダンプさせないようにすることを含む、
方法。 - ユーザー入力に応じて前記照明装置によって放出される光を減光することをさらに含む、請求項15記載の方法。
- 正弦波電流を受け取り;
前記AC電源電圧および前記ユーザー入力に応答して、前記正弦波信号の各サイクルの前端部または後端部の少なくとも一方を実質的に除去するよう前記正弦波信号を選択的に修正し;
前記選択的に修正された正弦波信号に応じる前記AC信号に応じた整流された電圧を出力することを含む、
請求項16記載の方法。 - 前記選択的に修正された正弦波信号の各サイクルの一部の間、前記電流をダンプさせ、
前記選択的に修正された正弦波信号の各サイクルの残りの間、前記ダンピング要素をバイパスすることをさらに含む、
請求項17記載の方法。 - 前記電流が前記閾値を超えることが、抵抗器を用いて前記電流をサンプリングすることを含む、請求項15記載の方法。
- 前記ダンピング要素をバイパスルことが、前記ダンピング要素と並列なスイッチをつなぐことを含む、請求項15記載の方法。
