Abstract
Description
必要な抗微生物特性を提供するために、ポリビニルアルコール(PVA)および殺生物剤AquaQureを用いて、ナノファイバーを作製した。
ポリビニルアルコール(PVA、Mr=146,000〜186,000ダルトン、87〜89%加水分解)(8.5%w/v)を蒸留水に溶解させ、撹拌しながら90℃で30分間加熱した。グリオキサール形態の架橋剤(8%v/v)(40%水溶液)をPVA溶液に入れて溶解するまで撹拌し、一滴の濃塩酸を加えてpHを2に下げた。尚、グリオキサール濃度を下げ、より短い時間でより高温で硬化させることが可能である。尚、PVAが再度使用されている理由は、単に、PVAを食品および医薬品に用いることが承認されているためである。
10%w/v PVAおよびCuSO4・5H2O(5〜15%w/v)を室温で水に混合し、塩が完全に溶解するまで撹拌し続けることによって、ポリビニルアルコール/銅(PVA/Cu)繊維マットを製作した。架橋剤としてグリオキサール(8%)を加え、60℃で4日間硬化させることによってナノファイバーを架橋させた。
8%w/v PVAおよびフラノン(2〜10%w/v)を室温で水に混合し、塩が完全に溶解するまで撹拌し続けることによって、ポリビニルアルコール/フラノン繊維マットを製作した。架橋剤としてグリオキサール(8%)を加え、60℃で4日間硬化させることによって架橋させた。
90℃で穏やかに撹拌することによってPVA粉末を水に溶解させ、8wt%PVAポリマー溶液を調製した。ポリマー溶液を冷却させ、架橋剤として8%v/vグリオキサールを加えた。濃塩酸でpHを5に調節し、架橋プロセスを補助した。最後に、5%(wt/v)AgNO3をポリマー溶液に加え、完全に混合した。AgNO3を含有するPVAナノファイバーをプレート上に収集し、60℃で4日間硬化させることによって架橋させた。架橋後、ナノファイバーを1時間紫外線照射し、ナノファイバー中の銀イオンを銀ナノ粒子に還元した。
ジメチルホルムアミド(DMF)(Sigma Aldrich)中6%(wt/v)PANを含有するポリマー溶液を調製した。DMFを90℃まで加熱し、PANを徐々に加えながら撹拌した。混合物を90℃で5時間、透明の濃黄色溶液が得られるまで撹拌した。シリコーン界面活性剤であるJSYK L580(0.95g/l)を加え、バブルエレクトロスピニング中の泡の形成を安定化させた。最後に、5%(wt/v)AgNO3をポリマー溶液に加え、完全に混合した。AgNO3および既に還元した銀ナノ粒子を含有するPANナノファイバーを、プレート上に収集した。続いて、ナノファイバーを1時間紫外線照射し、ナノファイバー中の残留銀イオン全てを銀ナノ粒子に還元した。
Claims (14)
- 水透過性バリアを有する封入体[2]の形をなす水フィルタエレメント[1]であって、水を浄化するための使用時に水が前記水透過性バリアを通過し、前記封入体が、少なくとも1つの粒状活性炭、少なくとも1つの適切なイオン交換樹脂、および少なくとも1つの適切な吸着体[7]を内部に収容し、前記フィルタエレメントは、前記透過性バリアが、使用時に水が浸透するナノ細孔を画定するナノファイバー層[9]を含むことを特徴とする、水フィルタエレメント[1]。
- 水透過性バリアを有する水フィルタエレメント[1]であって、水を浄化するための使用時に水が前記水透過性バリアを通過し、前記水フィルタエレメントは、前記水透過性バリアが、透過性支持層[8]および該透過性支持層[8]によって担持されるナノファイバー層[9]を含み、かつ前記ナノファイバー層が、使用時に水が浸透するナノ細孔を画定することを特徴とする、水フィルタエレメント[1]。
- 前記ナノファイバーが、ナノファイバー自体の本質的な特性であるか、またはナノファイバーもしくはナノファイバー層内に同伴されるもしくはその他の方法で捕捉される殺生剤によって与えられるかのいずれかもしくは両方である抗微生物特性を有する、請求項1または2のいずれか1項に記載の水フィルタエレメント。
- 任意の封入体が、概して円筒形であり、該円筒形が、穿孔ホルダ[3]内に密接に適合するようになされている、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の水フィルタエレメント。
- 任意の封入体が、円筒形となるように巻くのに適した概して平坦な長方形または正方形状のバッグ[20]であり、該円筒形が、穿孔ホルダ[23]内に密接に適合する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の水フィルタエレメント。
- 任意の封入体中に、少なくとも1つの粒状またはビーズ状イオン交換樹脂または吸着体が含まれる、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の水フィルタエレメント。
- 任意の透過性支持層が、ティーバッグ等を生産するために広く使用されている一般型の特殊フィルタタイプの紙である、請求項6に記載の水フィルタエレメント。
- 前記特殊ろ紙が、粗面と平滑面とを有するタイプであり、ナノファイバーが粗面によって担持される、請求項7に記載の水フィルタエレメント。
- 前記ナノ細孔が、約1ミクロンより大きいサイズの微生物およびその他の粒子を保持するように選択されたサイズを有する、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の水フィルタエレメント。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の水フィルタエレメントを含む水フィルタアセンブリであって、前記水フィルタアセンブリを通る流路において、前記水フィルタエレメントを作動的にぴったりと受容する穿孔ホルダ[3、23]を有する、水フィルタアセンブリ。
- 前記穿孔ホルダが、容器[4]の口内またはネジ山付き水用蛇口[14]のいずれかに取り付けられるためのネジ山付きソケット[5、26]を備える、請求項11に記載の水フィルタアセンブリ。
