1.ワイヤレス通信ネットワーク内で使用するための方法。
Claims (14)
- ワイヤレス通信ネットワーク内で使用する方法であって、
前記方法は、
ビーコン情報を複数のビーコンセグメントに分割するステップと、
前記複数のビーコンセグメントを複数のチャネルを介して同時に送信するステップと
を備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記ビーコン情報は、タイミング情報、ネットワーク識別子、対応データレート、規制クラス、ビーコン間隔または能力情報の少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 各ビーコンセグメントは異なるチャネルを介して送信されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ビーコン情報のサブセットが2つ以上のビーコンセグメントで繰り返されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ビーコン情報は、追加のビーコンセグメントが送信されるチャネルの周波数を示すチャネル情報を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- ワイヤレス送受信ユニット(WTRU)内で使用する方法であって、
前記方法は、
チャネルをスキャンしてビーコン情報を検出するステップと、
前記ビーコン情報の第1のビーコンセグメントを、1つのチャネルを介して受信するステップと、
前記第1のビーコンセグメントに含まれるチャネル情報に基づいて、少なくとも1つの他のチャネルを介して前記ビーコン情報の残りのビーコンセグメントを受信するステップと、
前記受信したビーコン情報に基づいてアソシエーション手順を開始するステップと
を備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 複数のチャネルが同時にスキャンされることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
- 基地局であって、
ビーコン情報を複数のビーコンセグメントに分割するように構成されたプロセッサと、
前記複数のビーコンセグメントを複数のチャネルを介して同時に送信するように構成されたトランシーバと
を備えることを特徴とする基地局。 - 前記ビーコン情報は、タイミング情報、ネットワーク識別子、対応データレート、規制クラス、ビーコン間隔または能力情報の少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の基地局。
- 前記トランシーバは、各ビーコンセグメントを異なるチャネルを介して送信するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の基地局。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記ビーコン情報のサブセットを2つ以上のビーコンセグメントに含めるように構成されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の基地局。
- 前記ビーコン情報は、追加のビーコンセグメントが送信されるチャネルの周波数を示すチャネル情報を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の基地局。
- ビーコン信号を使用したネットワークアソシエーションのためのワイヤレス送受信ユニット(WTRU)であって、
チャネルをスキャンしてビーコン情報を検出し、前記ビーコン情報の第1のビーコンセグメントを1つのチャネルを介して受信し、前記第1のビーコンセグメントに含まれるチャネル情報に基づいて、少なくとも1つの他のチャネルを介して前記ビーコン情報の残りのビーコンセグメントを受信するように構成されたトランシーバと、
前記ビーコン情報に基づいてアソシエーション手順を開始するように構成されたプロセッサと
を備えることを特徴とするWTRU。 - 前記トランシーバは複数のチャネルを同時にスキャンするように構成されることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のWTRU。
