Description
Claims (22)
- 多孔質支持型ウェブの製造方法であって、
不連続多成分ポリマー繊維を形成チャンバ内に導入する工程と、
前記多成分繊維を、前記形成チャンバ内で混合する工程と、
前記多成分繊維をフィラメント状の支持ウェブの少なくとも幾つかの内部空隙スペースに充填して、前記支持ウェブの少なくとも幾つかの前記内部空隙スペース内に充填された繊維状マットを形成する工程と、
前記繊維状マットが、前記支持ウェブの少なくとも幾つかの前記内部空隙スペース内に埋め込まれた多孔質ウェブへ自己接着されるように、前記多成分繊維を互いに溶融接着するために、前記多成分繊維を昇温にさらす工程と、を含む製造方法。 - 前記多成分繊維を前記支持ウェブの前記内部空隙スペースに前記充填することが、前記支持ウェブを前記形成チャンバを又は前記形成チャンバの下を通過させることによって、及び前記多成分繊維を支持ウェブに自然落下させることによって実行され、前記昇温にさらすことが、前記充填された繊維状マットをその中に備えた前記支持ウェブが、前記形成チャンバから離れている加熱ユニットを通過することによって達成される、請求項1に記載の工程。
- 前記多成分繊維の前記支持ウェブの内部空隙スペースへの充填を補助するために、圧力差が前記支持ウェブの全体に存在するように、少なくとも部分的な真空を、前記支持ウェブの主要表面に適用することを更に含む、請求項2に記載の工程。
- 前記多孔質埋込み型ウェブが、第1及び第2の主要表面を含み、前記多孔質埋込み型ウェブの前記主要表面の双方が、前記支持ウェブの前記内部内に存在する、請求項1に記載の工程。
- 前記支持ウェブの少なくとも幾つかの前記フィラメントが、前記多孔質埋込み型ウェブから前記多孔質埋込み型ウェブの主要表面を超えて外側に延びる、請求項4に記載の工程。
- 前記多孔質埋込み型ウェブが、第1及び第2の主要表面を含み、前記支持ウェブが第1及び第2の主要表面を含み、並びに前記多孔質埋込み型ウェブの少なくとも1つの前記主要表面が、前記支持ウェブから前記支持ウェブの主要表面を超えて外側に延びる、請求項1に記載の工程。
- 前記多孔質埋込み型ウェブが、第1及び第2の主要表面を含み、並びに前記多孔質埋込み型ウェブの少なくとも1つの前記主要表面が高密度化表面層を含む、請求項1に記載の工程。
- 前記支持ウェブが、複数の平坦な、共面のフィラメントループを含む概ね閉鎖した第1の主要表面を有し、前記支持ウェブの前記第1の主要表面に対して遠位にあるフィラメントの部分によって画定される、概ね粗の状態の第2の主要表面を有し、並びに前記支持ウェブへの前記多成分繊維の前記充填が、前記繊維を前記支持ウェブの前記概ね粗の状態の第2の主要表面へ充填することによって実行される、請求項1に記載の工程。
- 前記支持ウェブの前記フィラメントが、少なくとも約200マイクロメートルの平均直径を有する、請求項1に記載の工程。
- 前記多成分繊維が、1〜5のデニールを含む、請求項1に記載の工程。
- 粒子を前記形成チャンバ内に導入する工程と、前記粒子を前記多成分繊維と混合する工程と、前記粒子及び多成分繊維を前記支持ウェブに充填する工程と、少なくとも幾つかの前記多成分繊維を互いに溶融接着させて、少なくとも幾つかの前記粒子を少なくとも幾つかの前記多成分繊維に溶融接着させ、前記支持ウェブの少なくとも幾つかの前記内部空隙スペース内に埋め込まれた多孔質の粒子を含有するウェブを形成するように、前記多成分繊維及び前記粒子を昇温にさらす工程、とを更に含む、請求項1に記載の工程。
- 前記粒子が、研磨材粒子、金属粒子、洗剤粒子、界面活性剤粒子、殺生物剤粒子、吸着剤粒子、吸収剤粒子、マイクロカプセル、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項11に記載の工程。
- 前記粒子が、切断されたセルロース系スポンジ粒子及び切断されたポリウレタンスポンジ粒子、及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、吸収剤粒子である、請求項12に記載の工程。
- 前記多成分繊維の少なくとも幾つかが、前記支持ウェブの少なくとも幾つかのフィラメントに溶融接着されている、請求項1に記載の工程。
- 前記多孔質埋込み型ウェブの主要表面に適用された、又は前記多孔質埋込み型ウェブの内部に適用された、結合剤コーティングを提供することを更に含む、請求項1に記載の工程。
- 前記結合剤コーティングが、研磨材粒子を含む、請求項15に記載の工程。
- 詰めもの繊維を前記形成チャンバ内に導入することと、それらを前記多成分繊維と混合することと、それらを前記支持ウェブの少なくとも幾つかの前記内部空隙スペースに充填すること、とを更に含む、請求項1に記載の工程。
- 前記多孔質支持型ウェブを複数の多孔質支持型物品へと引き離すように、前記支持ウェブ及びその中の前記多孔質埋込み型ウェブの前記厚さ全体にわたって切断することを更に含む、請求項1に記載の工程。
- 前記昇温にさらすことが、前記支持ウェブ及びその中の前記埋込み型ウェブを、スルー−エアー接着機を通過させることを含む、請求項1に記載の工程。
- 前記繊維が、複数の回転するスパイクローラーによって、前記形成チャンバ内で混合される、請求項1に記載の工程。
