Claims (21)
- 連接する解剖学的関節の第1の解剖学的部位に取り付けるように構成された第1の構成要素と、
前記解剖学的関節の第2の解剖学的部位に取り付けるように構成された第2の構成要素と、
前記第1および第2の構成要素を結合する引張部材と、を備えた、埋め込み可能なアセンブリであって、
前記第1の構成要素が前記第1の解剖学的部位に取り付けられ、前記第2の構成要素が前記第2の解剖学的部に取り付けられ、前記第1および第2の構成要素への前記引張部材の連結位置間の距離が、前記位置間の埋め込みにより画定された距離よりも短い場合に、
前記第1の解剖学的部位から前記第2の解剖学的部位に伝達された負荷を瞬間的、可変的に軽減するように、前記引張部材が張力を受けて配置されており、前記解剖学的関節が伸長状態から屈曲するときに、前記引張部材の前記張力は低減する、埋め込み可能なアセンブリ。 - 前記引張部材により結合された前記第1および第2の構成要素の端部は、前記解剖学的関節が伸張状態にあるときに想定される構成位置において実質上重なり合う、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記解剖学的関節が伸長している場合に、前記第1および第2の解剖学的部位各々に対する前記第1および第2の構成要素の少なくともいずれかの結合位置の接線である面に垂直な方向から見たときに、前記引張部材により結合された前記第1および第2の構成要素の端部は曲がり、その姿勢での構成位置において重なり合わない、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記第1および第2の構成要素の端部は、前記解剖学的関節が伸長している時に想定される構造から、前記解剖学的関節が屈曲している時に想定される構造へと動く際に、はさみの動きのように互いに交差する、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記第2の構成要素に対して相対的な前記第1の構成要素上の回転軸点の位置は、伸長状態から屈曲状態へと動く範囲全体において実質的に同じ位置に留まる、請求項4に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記第2の構成要素に対して相対的な前記第1の構成要素上の回転軸点の位置は、伸長状態から屈曲状態へと動く範囲全体においてわずかに移動し、前記回転軸点位置の移動に伴い、前記引張部材による負荷軽減量を低減する、請求項4に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記第1および第2の構成要素上の回転軸点の位置が、前記解剖学的関節の前記回転軸に隣接する解剖学的関節上の位置と実質上重なり合う、請求項4に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記引張部材はエラストマを含む、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記引張部材がバネを含む、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記第1および第2の構成要素の少なくともいずれかは、それらの間で相対的平行移動はできないが、相対的回転が可能なように前記引張部材に接続されている、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記第1および第2の構成要素のいずれかは、前記引張部材の前記接続部との間で相対的平行移動および相対的回転ができないように前記引張部材に接続されている、請求項10に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記引張部材は前記第1の構成要素と前記第2の構成要素との間で相対的な軸回転を許容する、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記解剖学的関節は膝関節であり、前記第1の構成要素は前記膝関節の大腿骨に固定されるように適応し、前記第2の構成要素は前記膝関節の脛骨に固定されるように適応する、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記引張部材は延在し、前記解剖学的関節部位により加えられる力により生じるエネルギーを吸収し、それにより、前記解剖学的関節の接触面を通じて伝達された力により生じた負荷の少なくとも一部を軽減する、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記引張部材は、前記関節の伸延方向の力を加えることにより、前記負荷の一部を緩和する、請求項14に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記アセンブリはそれが取り付けられた前記解剖学的関節の側面にかかる負荷を緩和する、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- エネルギーを吸収し、関節に伝達される負荷を軽減するように、前記関節の第1の骨と第2の骨との間に接続されており、患者の体内に埋め込まれるように構成された引張部材を備えており、前記引張部材の張力は、前記関節の伸延方向の力を加える、関節に埋め込み可能なエネルギー吸収アセンブリ。
- 前記引張部材は、前記関節の動作中、張力位置から張力を有さない位置に動くように構成されている、請求項17に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記関節は膝関節であり、前記張力位置は前記膝関節が完全に伸張している位置であり、前記張力を有さない位置は前記膝関節が完全に屈曲している位置である、請求項18に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記引張部材、および前記第1および第2の骨への前記引張部材の固定部は、前記関節被膜の完全な外側に構成されている、請求項17に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記引張部材は、エラストマ部材またはバネである、請求項17に記載のアセンブリ。
