Claims (17)
- 垂直に直立しながら積み重ねられる、二次電池、またはそれぞれの中に2つ以上の二次電池が装着されたユニットモジュールを備える、中型または大型の電池モジュールであって、
前記ユニットモジュールが垂直に直立した状態で上に積み重ねられる基礎板と、
最も外側のユニットモジュールの外側表面と密接に接触して配設される1対の端板であって、一方で、前記端板の底部が前記基礎板に固定される1対の端板と、
前記端板を支持するように前記端板の上側部分または側部の向かい合う側面の間に接続される支持棒と、を備え、
前記端板のそれぞれが、前記ユニットモジュールの対応する1つと接触する本体と、前記本体の周辺部から外方向に突出する頂壁、底壁、および1対の側壁とを備え、前記側壁のそれぞれの厚さが、前記頂壁から前記底壁まで増大し、それによって、前記ユニットモジュールおよび前記支持棒からの圧力(曲げ荷重)を分散させる電池モジュール。 - それぞれの前記側壁の周辺部が直線に形成され、横方向で見る場合に前記側壁のそれぞれが直角三角形の形状に近似的に形成されるように、前記側壁のそれぞれが構成される、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- それぞれの前記側壁の周辺部が放物線の形状に形成されるように、前記側壁のそれぞれが構成される、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記放物線の形状が、前記最も外側のユニットモジュールの対応する1つの底部の隅部から外方向に凸形である形状を備える、請求項3に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記放物線の形状が、前記最も外側のユニットモジュールの対応する1つの底部の隅部に向かって内方向に凹形である形状を備える、請求項3に記載の電池モジュール。
- それぞれの前記端板の面積が、前記頂壁、前記側壁、および前記底壁の順に増大するように、前記端板のそれぞれが構成される、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- それぞれの前記側壁の面積が、前記底壁の面積の40%を超え90%以上であるように、前記側壁のそれぞれが構成される、請求項6に記載の電池モジュール。
- それぞれの前記側壁の前記面積が、前記底壁の面積の55%から75%までであるように、前記側壁のそれぞれが構成される、請求項7に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記側壁のそれぞれには、外力に対する構造安定性を向上させるために、ビードが設けられる、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記ビードが、幅に対する長さの比が大きい、凸形および凹形の形状に形成される条片タイプのビード、くぼみタイプのビード、または突起タイプのビードを備える、請求項9に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記端板のそれぞれの前記本体には、その上側部分に、前記それぞれの支持棒が通って挿入される1対の貫通孔が設けられる、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- それぞれの前記端板の周辺部が、応力の集中を防止するためにフィレット処理されるように、前記端板のそれぞれが構成される、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記支持棒がそれぞれの前記端板の前記本体に装着されるように、それぞれの前記端板の前記頂壁が、前記最も外側のユニットモジュールの対応する1つの上面から上方向に突出する、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- それぞれの前記端板の前記頂壁の前記上方向に突出する高さが、前記最も外側のユニットモジュールの対応する1つの高さの2%から20%までである、請求項13に記載の電池モジュール。
- それぞれの前記端板の前記底壁が前記基礎板に連結される構造で、前記端板のそれぞれが前記基礎板に固定される、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 請求項1に記載の電池モジュールを電源として使用する、電気車両、ハイブリッド電気車両、またはプラグインハイブリッド電気車両。
- 前記電池モジュールが前記車両のトランクに装着される、請求項16に記載の電気車両、ハイブリッド電気車両、またはプラグインハイブリッド電気車両。
