Claims (22)
- 水様の流体のためのサンプル収集デバイスであって、
開放された端部を有する細長いサンプル収集通路を画定するとともに、毛管作用によって流体を前記通路に引き込むよう構成された本体部を備え、
前記通路には、その長さの一部分に沿ってサンプル調量止め部が設けられており、サンプル調量止め部は、毛管作用による流体の流れを妨げるよう構成されており、
収集端部と前記調量止め部との間に延びる、前記通路のサンプル収容部分が、非線形なものとなっている、サンプル収集デバイス。 - サンプル調量止め部が、疎水性になっている前記通路の表面の一部分を備えている、請求項1に記載のサンプル収集デバイス。
- 前記通路のサンプル収容部分の表面が、親水性になっている、請求項1または2に記載のサンプル収集デバイス。
- 前記通路のサンプル収容部分の表面は、親水性コーティングを有している、請求項3に記載のサンプル収集デバイス。
- 前記サンプル収集デバイスは、全血のためのものであり、
前記親水性コーティングが、ヘパリン、タンパク質および糖質から選択される少なくとも1つを備えている、請求項4に記載のサンプル収集デバイス。 - 前記通路のサンプル収容部分が、0.5mm〜2.5mmの範囲内の最大および最小の横断方向寸法を有している、請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載のサンプル収集デバイス。
- サンプル収集通路の断面形状が、ほぼ半円形状になっている、請求項6に記載のサンプル収集デバイス。
- 前記通路のサンプル収容部分の体積が、10μL〜100μLの範囲内になっている、請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載のサンプル収集デバイス。
- 前記通路のサンプル収容部分が、少なくとも1つの屈曲部を画定し、
各屈曲部が、少なくとも90度の角度を画定している、請求項1乃至8のいずれか一項に記載のサンプル収集デバイス。 - 前記通路のサンプル収容部分が、少なくとも1つの屈曲部を画定し、
屈曲部の角度の総和が、180度を超えている、請求項1乃至9のいずれか一項に記載のサンプル収集デバイス。 - 前記通路のサンプル収容部分が、少なくとも2つの線形なリム部を画定し、
隣接する一対のリム部が、少なくとも1つの屈曲部によって連結されている、請求項1乃至10のいずれか一項に記載のサンプル収集デバイス。 - 前記通路のサンプル収容部分の直線的なリム部の各々が、10mm〜50mmの範囲内の長さを有していている、請求項11に記載のサンプル収集デバイス。
- 直線的なリム部が、互いに平行になっている、請求項11または12に記載のサンプル収集デバイス。
- サンプル収集通路が、単一の面内に延びている、請求項1乃至13のいずれか一項に記載のサンプル収集デバイス。
- サンプル収集通路を画定する本体部が、プラスチック材料から形成されている、請求項1乃至14のいずれか一項に記載のサンプル収集デバイス。
- 使用者が前記通路における流体の流れを観察することができるよう、サンプル収集通路を画定する本体部が、少なくともサンプル収容通路の領域において透明になっている、請求項1乃至15のいずれか一項に記載のサンプル収集デバイス。
- 請求項1乃至16のいずれか一項に記載のサンプル収集デバイスを備えたテストエレメントであって、
サンプル収集通路を画定する本体部が、サンプル収集通路の送出端部に流体連通している少なくとも1つの分析用チャンバーをさらに画定している、テストエレメント。 - 各分析用チャンバーが、分析用試薬を有している、請求項17に記載のテストエレメント。
- サンプル収集通路を画定する本体部が、前記少なくとも1つの分析用チャンバーに流体連通しているポートをさらに画定し、
前記ポートは、サンプル調量止め部を超えて、かつ、前記少なくとも1つの分析用チャンバーの中へ、収集されたサンプルを引き込むための真空源への連結のために構成されている、請求項17または18に記載のテストエレメント。 - 請求項1乃至16のいずれか一項に記載のサンプル収集デバイス、または、請求項17乃至19のいずれか一項に記載のテストエレメントであって、
サンプル収集通路を画定する本体部が、矩形状の、プレート状の形状を有している、サンプル収集デバイスまたはテストエレメント。 - 水様の流体サンプルを収集するための、請求項1乃至16のいずれか一項に記載のサンプル収集デバイスの使用。
- 全血、血清、血漿または尿を収集するための、請求項1乃至16のいずれか一項に記載のサンプル収集デバイスの使用。
