Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out label sheet die cutting processing which prevents the blade mark of a cutting die blade from remaining on a label mount easily in short time without adhesion of an adhesive to the cutting die blade and without adhesion of a label to the cutting die blade and to adjust the height of the cutting die blade simply.SOLUTION: While label base paper 1 is running, the label mount 2 is peeled off from the label sheet 3 of the label base paper and made to run in a detour 7. After that, the label mount is stuck again to the label sheet and made to run. While the label mount is running in the detour, dummy paper 8 is lapped over the back of the label sheet and made to run along with the back of the label sheet. A label picture is subjected to die cutting processing by a die cutting apparatus 16 from the surface side of the label sheet at an overlap position with the dummy paper.

Description

The present invention relates to a label die-cutting method for performing die-cutting of a label picture from a label base paper in which a belt-like label mount is temporarily attached with an adhesive on the back side of the belt-like label paper on which a label picture is continuously printed. And an apparatus for the same.

The die cutting process of the label picture is performed by using a punching cylinder in which a punching die blade is provided on the peripheral surface or a flexible die is attached to the peripheral surface, and the label base paper is passed between the punching cylinder and the receiving cylinder. This is done by half-cutting the label base paper.

In this way, the half cut that cuts only the label paper so that the cutting edge of the punching blade does not enter the mount requires time and technology for fine adjustment of the cutting amount, and the post-processing machine (labeler) due to insufficient cutting or excessive cutting. Problems such as sticking failure, kinking and tearing.

In order to solve such a problem, for example, Patent Document 1 discloses an apparatus and a method for manufacturing a label by performing die cutting so that no trace of a punching blade remains on a label mount. In this conventional label removing method and apparatus, the label paper is once peeled off from the label base of the label base paper, and the back side of the side where the label adhesive is applied while the label base is running around The punched die blade is pressed to remove the die, and the die-cut label picture is re-adhered on the label mount paper that has traveled the detour.

In the above-described conventional technology, since the die is cut out from the back side to which the sticking agent for the label paper peeled off from the label mount is applied, the sticking is performed on the cutting edge of the punching blade. As the agent adheres, the cutting edge of the punching blade becomes worse over time, and the sticking agent adheres to the punching blade, causing the label after punching to stick to the punching blade. was there. In addition, cutting is performed from the surface of the adhesive (back side), and the above cutting is performed in a state where the pattern is not visible. Therefore, it is difficult to adjust the position of the punching blade of the punching device, and the cleaning of the punching blade is also performed. There was a problem that it took time for maintenance.

The present invention has been made in view of the above, and it is possible to perform a die-cutting process of a label in which a trace of a punching blade does not remain on the mount without causing the above-described problems in the conventional technique. It is an object of the present invention to provide a label punching method and apparatus which can be used.

In order to achieve the above object, the label die-cutting method according to the present invention is a label formed by temporarily attaching a strip-shaped label mount with an adhesive on the back surface of a strip-shaped label paper on which a label picture is continuously printed. In the label die-cutting method in which the label picture of the base paper is die-cut by a die-cutting device, the label base paper is peeled off from the label base paper in the course of running the label base paper, and then the detour is run. The label mount is re-attached to the label paper so that it travels, and while the label mount travels on the detour, a dummy paper overlaps the back of the label paper and travels. At the overlapping position, the label picture is cut from the surface side of the label paper by a die cutting device.

An apparatus for carrying out the above method includes the above-mentioned label picture of the label base paper in which a strip-shaped label mount is temporarily attached to the back surface of the strip-shaped label paper on which the label pictures are continuously printed. In a label die-cutting device that performs die-cutting with a die-cut device, a mount guide roller that is brought into contact with the label mount is provided at a position separated in the running direction of the label base paper, and an upstream side mount guide roller is provided between the two mount guide rollers. A detour is provided for detouring the label mount peeled off from the label paper at the downstream side of the guide guide roller on the downstream side, and the reverse side of the label paper after peeling the label mount that runs between the two mount guide rollers inside the detour A dummy paper travel path is provided to allow the dummy paper to travel along the overlap with the label paper, and the label paper is placed on the label paper from the front side of the label paper to the position where the dummy paper overlaps and travels. It has a configuration in which a die cutting device for die-cutting the Le picture.

In the above apparatus, either a device comprising a punching cylinder provided with a punching die blade on the peripheral surface and a receiving cylinder that is in contact with the punching cylinder, or a laser irradiator was used as the die cutting device.

According to the above-described label die cutting method and apparatus according to the present invention, the label paper of the label base paper is applied to the back surface of the label paper by being die-cut from the front surface side by the die-cutting device. The sticking agent does not adhere to the punching die blade of the die-cutting device, and therefore it is possible to eliminate troubles in the die-cutting operation such as poor sharpness of the punching die blade and sticking of the label to the die-cutting blade side. Further, even when a laser irradiator is used for the die cutting device, the sticking agent does not ooze out on the front side of the label paper, and die cutting can be performed without being contaminated with the sticking agent. In addition, the die cutting by the die cutting device can be performed from the front side of the label paper, so that the die cutting work can be performed while viewing the label picture of the label paper from the front side, and the position of the punching blade relative to the label paper can be easily adjusted In addition, since the sticking agent does not adhere to the punching blade, the maintenance of the punching blade can be facilitated.

Further, according to the present invention, the label paper of the label base paper is die-cut in a state where it overlaps with the dummy paper, and is attached again to the label mount after die-cutting, thereby leaving uncut label pictures or entanglement of paper fibers. Can solve problems such as sticking to the label mount and difficult to remove the label picture from the label mount.

Further, in recent years, the thickness of the label base of the laminated continuous label base paper tends to be thin in terms of cost. However, since the base at the time of die cutting is a dummy paper as in the present invention, it is due to half-cutting by a die cutting device. The die-cutting of the die-cutting can be performed with the best mount thickness, and various problems such as insufficient cutting and excessive cutting of the cutting die blade can be prevented.

When half-cutting label base paper, which is a laminated continuous body, it is necessary to adjust the depth of cut by a small amount. However, because the mount at the time of die cutting is a dummy paper, the above adjustment requires much attention. It is possible to perform the setting without any trouble, and an appropriate setting can be easily performed in a short time.

An embodiment of a label die cutting method and apparatus according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a label base paper in which a strip-shaped label paper 3 on which a label picture is continuously printed at equal intervals is temporarily attached to a strip-shaped label mount 2 with an adhesive. Is fed from a sheet feeding device located in the left direction in FIG. 1 and travels linearly in the right direction in the figure.

In this linear travel path, two mount guide rollers 4a and 4b that are in rolling contact with the lower surface of the label mount 2 are provided with an interval in the travel direction, and the two mount guide rollers 4a and 4b A detour 5 extending below the travel path is formed by two (plural) guide rollers 5a and 5b between the label base papers 1 fed from the paper feeder. The lower label mount 2 is peeled off from the label paper 3 at the position of the upstream mount guide roller 4a and travels on the detour 5 and then the travel path of the label base paper 1 at the position of the downstream mount guide row 4b. To come back.

The upper label sheet 3 from which the label mount 2 has been peeled off at the position of the upstream mount guide roller 4a travels straight along the travel path toward the downstream mount guide roller 4b. The sheet guide roller 4b is joined to the label paper 3 that has passed through the detour 5 and is pasted again to travel downstream. A nip roller 6 is opposed to the downstream mount guide roller 4b.

A dummy paper travel path 7 is provided below the linear travel path of the label paper 3 and inside the detour 5. The dummy paper 8 in the dummy paper travel path 7 is guided by upstream and downstream dummy paper guide rollers 9a and 9b, and the upper surface of the dummy paper travels linearly between the both mount guide rollers 4a and 4b. 3, the vehicle travels in the same direction and at the same speed along the bottom surface (back surface).

The dummy paper 8 is supplied from a dummy paper supply roll 10 and is taken up by a take-up roll 11. Note that both the rolls 10 and 11 can be reversed to rewind the dummy paper 8 so that the dummy paper 8 can be used repeatedly. A nip roller 12 is opposed to the dummy paper guide roller 9b on the downstream side of the dummy paper traveling path 7.

The dummy paper traveling path 7a shown in FIG. 2 is configured so that the dummy paper 8 is in a loop shape and can be used repeatedly by traveling in the same direction. One of the guide rollers 13a and 13b in the device 7a is a drive roller.

A die cutting device 16 including a punching cylinder 14 and a receiving cylinder 15 is provided on the straight running path of the label paper 3. The punching cylinder 14 is positioned on the upper side (front surface side) of the label paper 3, and the receiving cylinder 15 is positioned on the lower side of the dummy paper 8, and the peripheral surfaces thereof are the running directions of the label paper 3 and the dummy paper 8. They are the same and rotate at the same peripheral speed. A punching die blade 17 having a predetermined shape is provided on the peripheral surface of the punching cylinder 14, and the label picture 18 is punched from the label paper 3 as shown in FIG. It has become. The height of the punching blade 17 at this time is slightly higher than the thickness of the label paper 3, and is high enough to leave a slight trace on the dummy paper 8 by punching out the label paper 3.

In the above configuration, the label mount 2 of the label base paper 1 fed from the paper feeder is peeled off from the label paper 3 by the upstream mount guide roller 4a, passes through the bypass circuit 5, and passes to the downstream mount guide roller 4b. Wrapped and returned to the normal travel path. Then, the label paper 3 after the label mount 2 has been peeled is run on a straight running path as it is.

The label sheet 3 traveling on the linear traveling path is overlapped with the dummy sheet 8 traveling on the dummy sheet traveling paths 7 and 7a. In a state where the dummy paper 8 is overlapped, the die cutting device 16 performs die cutting from the front side of the label paper 3. After that, the label paper 3 is reattached to the label base paper 2 that has passed through the detour 5 at the position of the downstream base paper guide roller 4b, and travels downstream as a unit.

At this time, since the label paper 3 is die-cut from the front surface side thereof by the die-cutting blade 17 of the die-cutting device 16, it is applied to the die-cutting blade 17 of the die-cutting device 16 on the back surface of the label paper 3. The sticking agent is not attached.

At the time of punching by the punching device 16, the punching blade 17 of the punching cylinder 14 penetrates the label paper 3, and the blade trace by the blade tip at this time is attached to the dummy paper 8 and travels on the bypass 5. Thus, the blade trace does not remain on the label mount 2 bypassing the die cutting device 16.

The dummy paper 8 at this time is marked with a blade mark by the punching blade 17 as described above, but the blade mark at this time is shallow and can be used repeatedly. It should be noted that the dummy paper 8 is preferably a strong paper because the traces of the punching blade 17 are repeatedly applied in this way, or may be a laser non-combustible material.

Although the increase / decrease adjustment of the cutting height of the punching blade 17 in the punching cylinder 14 can be performed over a very small amount, the size of the depth of the blade trace in the dummy paper 8 does not matter so much. Adjustment can be made roughly.

In the above-described embodiment, the label paper 1 is an example in which a single-layer label paper 3 is temporarily attached to a label mount 2. However, a label in which two-layer and three-layer label papers are temporarily attached to the label base 2. The base paper 1 may be used. In this case, the punching die 17 passes through the two-layer and three-layer label papers 3 and punches the die.

The die cutting device 16 in the above-described embodiment may use a laser irradiator 19 as shown in FIG. 4 instead of the punching cylinder 14 and the receiving cylinder 15. In this case, the label 18 is removed by the laser penetrating the label paper 3. At this time, the trace by the laser is made on the dummy paper 8, but this trace is not made on the label mount 2.
