Abstract

Description
本出願は、その内容が本明細書において参照により組み込まれる、2011年10月21日出願の米国特許仮出願第61/549,977号の優先権の利益を主張する。
本発明は一般的に超音波外科用システム、より具体的には、外科医が組織切断及び凝固、並びに向上した組織切開を行うことを可能にする、超音波装置に関連する。
(1) 超音波医療用装置であって、近位端及び遠位端を有する超音波導波管と、前記導波管の前記遠位端に取り付けられた、超音波により起動されるブレードであって、前記ブレードは第1組織接触表面、及び第2組織接触表面を有する、ブレードと、組織接触表面を有し、前記ブレードに対して枢動可能である第1クランプアームであって、前記第1クランプアームの少なくとも一部が前記ブレードから離間している開放位置、及び前記第1クランプアームの前記組織接触表面が前記ブレードの第1組織接触表面と隣接する閉鎖位置を有する、第1クランプアームと、組織接触表面を有し、前記ブレードに対して枢動可能である第2クランプアームであって、前記第2クランプアームの少なくとも一部が前記ブレードから離間する開放位置、及び前記第2クランプアームの前記組織接触表面が、前記ブレードの第2組織接触表面と隣接する閉鎖位置を有する、第2クランプアームと、を含む、超音波医療用装置。
(2) 前記第1組織接触表面及び前記第2組織接触表面が交差して切断縁部を形成する、実施態様1に記載の超音波医療用装置。
(3) 前記ブレードが真っ直ぐである、実施態様1に記載の超音波医療用装置。
(4) 前記ブレードが湾曲している、実施態様1に記載の超音波医療用装置。
(5) 前記第1クランプアーム及び前記第2クランプアームが前記閉鎖位置にあるときに、前記第1クランプアーム及び前記第2クランプアームが間隙距離Gを画定する、実施態様1に記載の超音波医療用装置。
(6) 前記間隙距離Gが、約0.13mm(0.005インチ)〜約3.81mm(0.150インチ)の範囲に及ぶ、実施態様5に記載の超音波医療用装置。
(7) 前記第1クランプアーム及び前記第2クランプアームが、一致して第1開放位置から第2閉鎖位置まで移動する、実施態様1に記載の超音波医療用装置。
(8) 前記第1クランプアーム及び前記第2クランプアームがオフセットするように動作する、実施態様1に記載の超音波医療用装置。
(9) 前記第1クランプアームが前記開放位置から前記閉鎖位置への移動面を画定し、前記移動面は、前記ブレードの第1組織接触表面の垂線から、アプローチ角度θだけオフセットしている、実施態様1に記載の超音波医療用装置。
(10) 前記アプローチ角度θは、約−45°〜約45°の範囲に及ぶ、実施態様9に記載の超音波医療用装置。
(12) 前記アプローチ角度θは、約−45°〜約45°の範囲に及ぶ、実施態様11に記載の超音波医療用装置。
(13) 前記第1組織接触表面と前記第2組織接触表面との交点が、約20°〜約170°の角度を画定する、実施態様2に記載の超音波医療用装置。
Claims (13)
- 超音波医療用装置であって、近位端及び遠位端を有する超音波導波管と、前記導波管の前記遠位端に取り付けられた、超音波により起動されるブレードであって、前記ブレードは第1組織接触表面、及び第2組織接触表面を有する、ブレードと、組織接触表面を有し、前記ブレードに対して枢動可能である第1クランプアームであって、前記第1クランプアームの少なくとも一部が前記ブレードから離間している開放位置、及び前記第1クランプアームの前記組織接触表面が前記ブレードの第1組織接触表面と隣接する閉鎖位置を有する、第1クランプアームと、組織接触表面を有し、前記ブレードに対して枢動可能である第2クランプアームであって、前記第2クランプアームの少なくとも一部が前記ブレードから離間する開放位置、及び前記第2クランプアームの前記組織接触表面が、前記ブレードの第2組織接触表面と隣接する閉鎖位置を有する、第2クランプアームと、を含む、超音波医療用装置。
- 前記第1組織接触表面及び前記第2組織接触表面が交差して切断縁部を形成する、請求項1に記載の超音波医療用装置。
- 前記ブレードが真っ直ぐである、請求項1に記載の超音波医療用装置。
- 前記ブレードが湾曲している、請求項1に記載の超音波医療用装置。
- 前記第1クランプアーム及び前記第2クランプアームが前記閉鎖位置にあるときに、前記第1クランプアーム及び前記第2クランプアームが間隙距離Gを画定する、請求項1に記載の超音波医療用装置。
- 前記間隙距離Gが、約0.13mm(0.005インチ)〜約3.81mm(0.150インチ)の範囲に及ぶ、請求項5に記載の超音波医療用装置。
- 前記第1クランプアーム及び前記第2クランプアームが、一致して第1開放位置から第2閉鎖位置まで移動する、請求項1に記載の超音波医療用装置。
- 前記第1クランプアーム及び前記第2クランプアームがオフセットするように動作する、請求項1に記載の超音波医療用装置。
- 前記第1クランプアームが前記開放位置から前記閉鎖位置への移動面を画定し、前記移動面は、前記ブレードの第1組織接触表面の垂線から、アプローチ角度θだけオフセットしている、請求項1に記載の超音波医療用装置。
- 前記アプローチ角度θは、約−45°〜約45°の範囲に及ぶ、請求項9に記載の超音波医療用装置。
- 前記第2クランプアームが前記開放位置から前記閉鎖位置への移動面を画定し、前記移動面は、前記ブレードの第2組織接触表面の垂線から、アプローチ角度θだけオフセットしている、請求項1に記載の超音波医療用装置。
- 前記アプローチ角度θは、約−45°〜約45°の範囲に及ぶ、請求項11に記載の超音波医療用装置。
