Abstract
Description
本実施例では、同じアルキル樹脂の異なる等級の動的粘度(η)、貯蔵弾性率(G’)及び損失弾性率(G”)が、相互に、並びに、使い捨て吸収性物品を作製するために典型的に使用される従来のホットメルト接着剤に対して、比較される。本実施例及び他の実施例で使用されるホットメルト接着剤は、National Starch & Chemical Company(Bridgewater,NJ)から製品名DM 526で市販されている(現在では、Henkel Adhesive Technology Company(Bridgewater,NJ)から製品名DISPOMELT(登録商標)526で市販され得る)。物質の動的粘度(η)、貯蔵弾性率(G’)及び損失弾性率(G”)は、約20℃〜約130℃の温度範囲にわたって測定され、図3及び4に報告される。
本実施例では、同じアルキル樹脂の異なる等級のガードナー色数等級が、相互に、並びに、使い捨て吸収性物品を作製するために典型的に使用される従来のホットメルト接着剤に対して、比較される。実施例1に記載のアルキド樹脂の2つの等級(具体的には5Pa/s及び6Pa/s等級)及び実施例1に記載のホットメルト接着剤を本実施例で使用した。
本実施例では、アルキド樹脂の水安定性/接着性能が、使い捨て吸収性物品を作製するのに典型的に使用される従来のホットメルト接着剤の水安定性/接着性能と比較される。実施例1に記載の同じホットメルト接着剤及び実施例1に記載のアルキド樹脂の5Pa/s等級を本実施例で使用した。
本実施例では、使い捨て吸収性物品、すなわち、おむつの製造をシミュレートするために行われる試験において、短油アルキド樹脂の加工実現性を示す。
本実施例では、同じアルキド樹脂の異なる等級の加熱(熱)安定性を相互に比較する。3Pa/s等級が本実験の一部ではないことを除き、実施例1に記載のアルキド樹脂の同じ等級を本実施例で使用した。
Claims (11)
- (a)少なくとも65重量%の、水安定性、油変性、非反応性アルキド樹脂と、
(b)0.01重量%〜約35重量%の、
(i)ポリヒドロキシアルカン酸、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、マレイン酸変性ポリエチレン(maleated polyethylene)、マレイン酸変性ポリプロピレン(maleated polypropylene)、ポリ乳酸、変性ポリプロピレン、ナイロン、カプロラクトン(caprolactone)及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択されるポリマー;並びに
(ii)タルク、粘土、パルプ、小麦粉、クルミ殻、セルロース、綿、黄麻、ラフィア、米殻(rice chaff)、動物の毛(animal bristles)、キチン、粒状デンプン、珪藻土、炭素繊維、ケナフ麻、ステアリン酸マグネシウム、脂肪酸アミド、脂肪酸の金属塩、蝋酸エステル及びその石鹸、モンタン蝋酸、エステル及びそれらの石鹸、ポリオレフィンワックス、非極性ポリオレフィンワックス、天然及び合成パラフィンワックス、フルオロポリマー、ケイ素、珪藻土及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される加工助剤、のうちの1つと、を含む、構造接着剤組成物。 - 前記アルキド樹脂が、少なくとも80重量%の量で前記組成物中に存在する、請求項1に記載の構造接着剤組成物。
- 前記アルキド樹脂が、カプリン酸、カプロン酸、カプリル酸、ラウリン酸、ラウロレイン酸、リノール酸、リノレン酸、ミリスチン酸、ミリストレイン酸、オレイン酸、パルミチン酸、パルミトレイン酸、ステアリン酸、牛脂、ヒマシ油、ココナツ油、ココナツ種子油、トウモロコシ胚芽油、綿実油、魚油、亜麻仁油、オリーブ油、オイチシカ油、パーム核油、パーム油、パーム種子油、ピーナッツ油、菜種油、ベニバナ油、大豆油、抹香鯨油、ヒマワリ油(sunflowerseed oil)、トール油、桐(キリ)油、鯨油及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される脂肪酸又は油を含む、請求項1に記載の構造接着剤組成物。
- 前記組成物が遊離可塑剤を含まない、請求項1に記載の構造接着剤組成物。
- 前記組成物が遊離粘着付与剤を含まない、請求項1に記載の構造接着剤組成物。
- 前記組成物が、少なくとも40ダイン/cmの表面エネルギーを有する、請求項1に記載の構造接着剤組成物。
- (a)物品構成要素と、
(b)前記物品構成要素のうちの少なくとも2つの間に塗布されてこれらを一緒に接合する接着剤組成物と、を含む物品であって、前記接着剤組成物が水安定性、油変性、非反応性アルキド樹脂を含む、物品。 - 前記物品が使い捨て吸収性物品又はパッキング(packaging)であり、前記物品構成要素が使い捨て吸収性物品構成要素又はパッキング(packaging)構成要素である、請求項7に記載の物品。
- 請求項7に記載の物品の構成要素間の接着結合を形成する方法であって、前記方法が、
(a)水安定性、油変性、非反応性アルキド樹脂を含む接着剤組成物を第一物品構成要素上に80℃〜200℃の温度にて分配することと、
(b)前記第一物品構成要素を第二物品構成要素と接合して、前記接着剤を室温へと冷却するにつれて接着結合を形成させることと、を含む、方法。 - 前記接着結合が、結合強度試験に従って測定されたときに、水に対する少なくとも16時間にわたる曝露後に結合強度の20%未満の損失を経験する、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記接着結合が、結合強度試験に従って測定されたときに、水に対する少なくとも16時間にわたる曝露後に結合強度の増加を経験する、請求項9に記載の方法。
