Abstract
Description
本出願は、米国特許法第119条に基づいて、2008年11月18日に出願された米国特許仮出願:61/115,864号:発明の名称「ホットチップ静脈治療装置」および2009年7月24日に出願された米国特許仮出願:61/228,298号:発明の名称「ホットチップ静脈治療装置」の利益を請求する。これらの出願の全体が参照して、本出願の中に取り入れられる。
Claims (38)
- カテーテル内でスチームを生成する方法であって、
蒸気生成チャンバへ流体を運搬する工程と、
蒸気生成チャンバ上若しくは蒸気生成チャンバの中に配置された電極アレイに電力を送る工程と、
電極アレイの信号を検知する工程と、
蒸気生成チャンバ内にて完全に発達した蒸気を生成するために、検知信号に基づいて電極へ送る電力を調整する工程と、を備える方法。 - 信号はインピーダンスである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 信号は流体の流量である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 信号はスチームの温度である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 電極アレイは双極電極アレイである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 検知したインピーダンスの増加に応じて、送り込む電力を小さくする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 流体が一定の流量で運搬される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 流体が時変の流量で運搬される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 流体が、治療中の血管若しくは器官の直径に依存する流量で運搬される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 蒸気を患者に運搬する工程を備える、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 蒸気は患者の静脈に運搬される、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 蒸気を静脈へ運搬することにより静脈の内腔を縮小する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 電力は制御器によって自動的に調整される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 電力は手動で調整される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 流体は食塩水である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 流体は電気的導電性を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 静脈を治療する方法であって、
カテーテルを静脈の中に挿入する工程と、
流体をカテーテル内の蒸気生成チャンバへ運搬する工程と、
蒸気生成チャンバに配置された電極アレイに電力を送る工程と、
電極アレイの信号を検知する工程と、
蒸気生成チャンバ内にて完全に発達した蒸気を生成するために、検知したインピーダンスに基づいて電極アレイへ送る電力を調整する工程と、を備える方法。 - 信号はインピーダンスである、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 信号は流体の流量である、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 信号は温度である、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 電極アレイは双極電極アレイである、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 検知したインピーダンスの増加に応じて、送り込む電力を小さくする、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 検知したインピーダンスの減少に応じて、送り込む電力を大きくする、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 流体が一定の流量で運搬される、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 流体が治療中の血管若しくは器官の直径に依存した流量で運搬される、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 流体が、検知したインピーダンスに依存する流量で運搬される、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 蒸気を患者に運搬する工程を備える、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 蒸気は患者の静脈に運搬される、請求項27に記載の方法。
- 蒸気を静脈へ運搬することにより静脈の内腔を縮小する、請求項28に記載の方法。
- 電力は制御器によって自動的に調整される、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 電力は手動で調整される、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 蒸気を生成する装置であって、
内部に電極アレイが配置された蒸気生成チャンバと、
蒸気生成チャンバに接続する流体貯留器と、
電極アレイに接続するRFジェネレータと、
電極アレイのインピーダンスを検知するための制御器と、を備え、
蒸気生成チャンバが、流体貯留器からの流体を装置内にて完全に発達した蒸気へ変換する、蒸気装置。 - 電極アレイは平坦な形状を有する、請求項32に記載の装置。
- 電極アレイはカテーテルの内周に沿って配置される、請求項32に記載の装置。
- 第2の蒸気生成チャンバを備える、請求項32に記載の装置。
- 流体は食塩水である、請求項32に記載の装置。
- 制御器は、検知したインピーダンスに基づいて、RFジェネレータから電極アレイへ送る電力を自動的に調整する、請求項32に記載の装置。
- 蒸気生成チャンバに接続する運搬針を備える、請求項32に記載の装置。
