ここで、Rhapticは支持部の表面粗さであり、且つ、Ropticは光学部域の表面粗さである。いくつかの実施形態では、Fを2よりも大きくすることができる(すなわち、光学ピンの支持部域についての表面粗さを、光学部域についての表面粗さの二倍以上の因子にすることができる)。いくつかの実施形態では、Fを3よりも大きくすることができる。この結果、支持部が支持部域から形成されるとき、支持部は、光学部域の表面粗さとは異なる表面粗さを有することができる。
Claims (19)
- 第1表面トポロジーを有する光学部域と、
第2表面トポロジーを有する支持部であって、前記第2表面トポロジーが、前記支持部が前記光学部域に付着する能力を減少させる、支持部と
を含む、眼内レンズ。 - 前記第1表面トポロジーが第1表面粗さを有し、且つ、前記第2表面トポロジーが、前記第1表面粗さよりも大きい第2表面粗さを有する、請求項1に記載の眼内レンズ。
- 前記第2表面粗さが前記第1表面粗さよりも少なくとも二倍大きい、請求項2に記載の眼内レンズ。
- 前記第1表面トポロジーが第1表面形状を有し、且つ、前記第2表面トポロジーが、前記第1表面形状とは異なる第2表面形状を有する、請求項1に記載の眼内レンズ。
- 前記第1表面形状及び第2表面形状が前記眼内レンズの挿入中に前記支持部と前記光学部域との間に空間を形成し、且つ、前記支持部及び光学部域によって形成された前記空間が潤滑流体を保持する、請求項4に記載の眼内レンズ。
- 前記第2表面形状が1以上の正の形状構成を有する、請求項4に記載の眼内レンズ。
- 前記第2表面形状が1以上の負の形状構成を有する、請求項4に記載の眼内レンズ。
- 光学ピンを形成することを含む、眼内レンズを製造する方法であって、
前記光学ピンを形成することが、
眼内レンズにおける光学部域に対応する第1表面トポロジーを有する光学部域を形成するステップと、
前記眼内レンズにおける支持部に対応する第2表面トポロジーを有する支持部域を形成するステップであって、前記第2表面トポロジーが、前記支持部が前記光学部域に付着する能力を減少させる、ステップと
を含む、方法。 - 眼内レンズにおける光学部域に対応する第1表面トポロジーを有する光学部域を形成する前記ステップが、第1表面粗さを形成することを含み、且つ、前記眼内レンズにおける支持部に対応する第2表面トポロジーを有する支持部域を形成する前記ステップが、前記第1表面粗さよりも大きい第2表面粗さを形成することを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記第2表面粗さが前記第1表面粗さよりも少なくとも二倍大きい、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 眼内レンズにおける光学部域に対応する第1表面トポロジーを有する光学部域を形成する前記ステップが、第1表面形状を形成することを含み、且つ、前記眼内レンズにおける支持部に対応する第2表面トポロジーを有する支持部域を形成する前記ステップが、患者への前記レンズの挿入中に前記支持部と前記光学部域との間に空間が形成されるように第2表面形状を形成することを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記眼内レンズにおける支持部に対応する第2表面トポロジーを有する支持部域を形成する前記ステップが、z軸回りに前記光学ピンを回転させることと、x方向、y方向、及びz方向のうちの1以上の方向において、前記光学ピンを横断して切削工具を移動させることとを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記眼内レンズにおける支持部に対応する第2表面トポロジーを有する支持部域を形成する前記ステップが、z軸回りに前記光学ピンを回転させることと、波長及び振幅を基準にして、前記光学ピンを横断して切削工具を移動させることとを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記眼内レンズにおける支持部に対応する第2表面トポロジーを有する支持部域を形成する前記ステップが、z軸回りに前記光学ピンを回転させることと、半径及び角度を基準にして、前記光学ピンを横断して切削工具を移動させることとを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 患者に眼内レンズを挿入するための方法であって、
当該方法が、
前記眼内において切開創を作るステップと、
該切開創内にカニューレを挿入するステップと、
該カニューレを通して前記眼内に眼内レンズを前進させるステップとを含み、
該眼内レンズが
第1表面トポロジーを有する光学部域と、
第2表面トポロジーを有する支持部とを含み、
前記第2表面トポロジーが、前記カニューレを通した前記眼内レンズの前進の間、前記支持部が前記光学部域に付着する能力を減少させる、方法。 - 前記カニューレを通して前記眼内レンズを前進させる前記ステップが、前記光学部域の内側に前記支持部を折り畳むことを含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記折り畳まれた眼内レンズの内側に潤滑流体を注入するステップを更に含み、前記第1表面形状及び第2表面形状が、前記カニューレを通した前記眼内レンズの前進の間、前記潤滑流体を保持すべく空間を形成する、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記第1表面トポロジーがトーリック面又は非球面を含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
