It is to be incorporated into the book.
This application is incorporated herein by reference with respect to US Application No. 12 / 475,719, filed June 1, 2009. This application claims priority to the US provisional patent application.
The present invention relates to a composition that protects skin and hair from the symptoms of dryness, cracking, and chapping by retaining moisture.
Currently, various emollients that moisturize are on the market. The main purpose of such products is to prevent moisture from being removed from the skin while providing moisture to the skin. These products are based on oil or use oil and water emulsifiers. The effect of these oil based products is to coat the skin with a permeable membrane. This water-impermeable layer prevents the moisture from disappearing from the skin as the water evaporates. Most such formulations use various additives to smooth, moisturize and soften the skin. However, the impermeable layer prevents the skin from breathing. This presents a problem for oxygen being absorbed into the skin and maintaining skin life.
Better skin conditioners that moisturize are based on water, but few such. They use humectants and conditioning agents to treat dry and damaged skin. Some such products use very small amounts of cationic agents to minimize electrostatic effects from using them. Cationic additives are usually not used in regulators based on oil. Unlike oil-based preparations that work by covering the skin with a protective film, water-based preparations work by reducing skin tension.
When air is very dry, a person moving through such air accumulates negatively charged electrons on the skin due to air / skin friction. When enough electrons accumulate in the skin, human hair “stands up”. When there is an electrostatic charge, the hairs repel each other. Skin cells also show the same reduction. For example, skin “cracking” is due to dry skin cells “standing upside down” and “repelling each other”. This brings tension to the skin. This symptom is exacerbated by a lack of water. The pores open and moisture flows out. When you rub your hands, an electrostatic charge is generated that causes drying and tearing. Excess electrons accumulate in the skin.
Hair conditioning agents work in a variety of ways. When the hair is wet, the water is flexible because water is a plasticizer for the hair. Hair conditioning agents promote the plasticizing effect. In addition, ingredients are added to keep the hair from becoming brittle.
The present invention is a water-soluble adjusting substance containing a cationic substance that neutralizes the negative charge of the skin and removes tension, and blocks pores and prevents water from flowing out. The material reduces the distance between the pores. The difference between the present invention and other water-based skin conditioning agents is the amount of cationic material used. The present invention uses significant amounts compared to other commercial products. This has the unexpected result that the charge on the skin is neutralized and tension is relaxed. In its most basic form, it does not contain humectants or other skin conditioning substances. The moisturizing agent or other skin conditioning substance may be added to the present invention, or the present invention can be used as an additive to a commercial product using an emollient as a substrate.
Celquat SC−240c(Polyquaternium−10) 0−4%
Merquat 100 0−11%
The general formulation of the compound of the present invention contains the following substances as main components (cationic substances),
Celquat SC-240c (Polyquaternium-10) 0-4%
Merquat 100 0-11%
In addition, it includes:
Germall Plus(ジアゾリジニルウレア&イソプロピニルブチルカルバメート)
Merquat(登録商標)280はポリクオタニウム22である。
Distilled water Polypropylene glycol EDTA Tetrasodium Polywax Glycerol monostearate (glyceryl stearate)
Vanilla Glycerin Germ Plus (diazolidinyl urea & isopropynyl butyl carbamate)
These prescriptions are common. Merquat® 280 is polyquaternium 22. Celquat (R) and Merquat are both strong cationic substances. The formulation was formulated to include Celquat and Merquat. However, even if it contains only any substance as an active ingredient, it can be used.
Cationic materials other than Celquat and Merquat are well known to those skilled in the art. Other materials can also be used in the present invention as substitutes for Celquat and Merquat, or other additives. As mentioned above, only products based on water can be used as cationic substances. The difference between the present invention and other commercially available conditioning materials is the strength of the cation effect. This neutralizes negatively charged skin, relaxes skin tension (by making skin cells close to each other), and cannot be expected to close pores to retain moisture Bring effect.
The basic formulation is mainly one that contains a cationic substance in a water-soluble substrate. However, moisturizing and conditioning substances may be added to the basic formulation. On the other hand, the basic formulation may be added to other water-based skin conditioning agents to increase its effectiveness.
The present invention can also be used as a treatment for psoriasis exacerbated by dry skin. It promotes plasticization by neutralizing the negative charge held by the hair.
