Description
本出願は、この明細書および開示の全体が参照により本明細書に組み込まれており、発明の名称が「高温における寿命が改良された鉛蓄電池防縮剤(Lead−Acid Battery Expanders with Improved Life at High Temperatures)」である2007年6月6日に出願された同時係属中のU.S.Patent Application Serial No.11/810,659の一部継続出願である、2008年9月2日に出願されたU.S.Non−Provisional Patent Application Serial No.12/231,347の優先権を主張するものである。
Claims (24)
- 硫酸バリウム;
高濃度の炭素および/またはグラファイト;ならびに
有機物質
を含む、鉛蓄電池用の蓄電池極板用の蓄電池ペースト用の防縮剤。 - 有機物質がリグノスルホナートである、請求項1に記載の防縮剤。
- 高濃度の炭素および/またはグラファイトが、ハイブリッド電気自動車用の鉛蓄電池用の蓄電池極板用の蓄電池ペースト中で使用される酸化物の量に対して約0.2%から6%である、請求項1に記載の防縮剤。
- 高濃度の炭素および/またはグラファイトが、約1%から5%である、請求項3に記載の防縮剤。
- 高濃度の炭素および/またはグラファイトが、約1%から3%のグラファイトを含む、請求項4に記載の防縮剤。
- 高濃度の炭素および/またはグラファイトが、約1%から2%のカーボンブラックを含む、請求項5に記載の防縮剤。
- 高濃度の炭素および/またはグラファイトが、約2%のグラファイトおよび約2%のカーボンブラックを含む、請求項6に記載の防縮剤。
- 高濃度の炭素および/またはグラファイトが、液式自動車鉛蓄電池用の蓄電池極板用の蓄電池ペースト中で使用される酸化物の量に対して約0.3%から1.1%である、請求項1に記載の防縮剤。
- 高濃度の炭素および/またはグラファイトが、約0.3%から1.0%のグラファイトを含む、請求項8に記載の防縮剤。
- 高濃度の炭素および/またはグラファイトが、鉛蓄電池中の負極活物質表面上での硫酸鉛の蓄積を低下させる、請求項1に記載の防縮剤。
- 高濃度の炭素および/またはグラファイトが、鉛蓄電池の電気化学的効率、リザーブキャパシティ、コールドクランキング性能およびサイクル寿命の少なくとも1つを増加させる、請求項1に記載の防縮剤。
- 請求項1に記載の防縮剤を取り込む蓄電池ペースト。
- 請求項12に記載の蓄電池ペーストから作製された蓄電池極板。
- 蓄電池ペースト混合物を配合する工程;
蓄電池ペースト混合物に、硫酸バリウム、有機物質、ならびに高濃度の炭素および/またはグラファイトを別個に、または予備混合して添加する工程
を含む、鉛蓄電池用の蓄電池極板用の蓄電池ペーストを製造する方法。 - 有機物質がリグノスルホナートである、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 高濃度の炭素および/またはグラファイトが、ハイブリッド電気自動車用の鉛蓄電池用の蓄電池極板用の蓄電池ペースト中で使用される酸化物の量に対して約0.2%から6%である、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 高濃度の炭素および/またはグラファイトが、約1%から5%である、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 高濃度の炭素および/またはグラファイトが、約1%から3%のグラファイトを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 高濃度の炭素および/またはグラファイトが、約1%から2%のカーボンブラックを含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 高濃度の炭素および/またはグラファイトが、約2%のグラファイトおよび約2%のカーボンブラックを含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 高濃度の炭素および/またはグラファイトが、液式自動車鉛蓄電池用の蓄電池極板用の蓄電池ペースト中で使用される酸化物の量に対して約0.3%から1.1%である、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 高濃度の炭素および/またはグラファイトが、約0.3%から1.1%のグラファイトを含む、請求項14に記載の防縮剤。
- 請求項14に記載の方法から作製された蓄電池極板。
