Claims (15)
- コンピュータ装置のユーザに前記コンピュータ装置の操作についての情報を提供する方法であって、前記方法は、
前記コンピュータ装置の資源消費を監視し、
前記監視から得た資源消費データを保存し、
前記ユーザの前記コンピュータ装置の操作に関連する資源消費又は環境負荷についての情報に対する前記ユーザからの要求を受付け、
資源消費又は環境負荷についての情報を前記ユーザに提示することを含む方法。 - 資源消費を監視することは、前記コンピュータ装置でエネルギ消費を監視することを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 資源消費を監視することは、前記コンピュータ装置に関連するプリンタによる紙の消費を監視することを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- ユーザからの要求を受信することは、ユーザが、前記コンピュータ装置のキーボードの物理的に緑色をしたキーを選択したことを検出することを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 資源消費又は環境負荷についての情報を提示することは、ユーザが資源消費又は環境負荷の低減に関してどの程度十分に又は不十分に行動しているかのグラフィック表示を提供することを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記グラフィック表示は、木のグラフィック画像を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 資源消費又は環境負荷についての情報を提示することは、前記資源消費データを、資源消費及び環境負荷の観点から推奨されるコンピュータ使用実践を特定するベストプラクティスデータと比較することを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ユーザの前記コンピュータ装置の操作と関連する資源消費又は環境負荷を前記ユーザがどのように低減できるかについての忠告に対する前記ユーザからの要求を受付け、前記忠告を前記ユーザに提示することを更に含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記提示された忠告の少なくとも1つを採用したとするシミュレーションを実行する要求を前記ユーザから受付け、前記シミュレーションを実行し、前記シミュレーションの結果を前記ユーザに提示することを更に含む請求項8に記載の方法。
- ユーザのコンピュータ装置の操作を監視することから得た資源消費データを保存するよう構成した論理と、
前記ユーザの前記コンピュータ装置の操作に関連する資源消費又は環境負荷についての情報に対するユーザからの要求を受付けるよう構成した論理と、
前記資源消費又は環境負荷についてのグラフィック表示を前記ユーザに提示するよう構成した論理を含むコンピュータ可読媒体。 - 前記ユーザからの要求を受付けるよう構成した論理は、前記コンピュータ装置の環境専用キーを前記ユーザが選択したことを検出するよう構成した論理を含む請求項10に記載のコンピュータ可読媒体。
- 前記グラフィック表示を提示するよう構成した論理は、前記ユーザが資源消費又は環境負荷の低減に関してどの程度十分に又は不十分に行動しているかを伝える木のグラフィック画像を提示するよう構成した論理を含む請求項10に記載のコンピュータ可読媒体。
- 前記資源消費データを、資源消費又は環境負荷の観点から推奨されるコンピュータ使用実践を特定するベストプラクティスデータと比較するよう構成した論理を更に含む請求項10に記載のコンピュータ可読媒体。
- 前記ユーザの前記コンピュータ装置の操作と関連する資源消費又は環境負荷を前記ユーザがどのように低減可能かについての忠告を提示するよう構成した論理を更に含む請求項10に記載のコンピュータ可読媒体。
- 前記提示された忠告の少なくとも1つを採用したとするシミュレーションを実行するよう構成した論理を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載のコンピュータ可読媒体。
