Abstract
【解決手段】光情報記録媒体10は、複数の記録層11と、当該複数の記録層11の間に設けられる中間層12とを備えている。光情報記録媒体10は、記録再生光(光)の入射側から見て、複数の記録層11よりも奥側の任意の層(基板13)にトラッキングに用いるための凹部13Aを有している。凹部13Aの深さDは、記録再生光の波長をλ、当該凹部13A内に満たされた層(中間層12N)の屈折率をnとして、λ/4nである。

次に、本発明の第1実施形態について、図面を参照しながら説明する。
図1に示すように、光情報記録媒体10は、複数の記録層11と、複数の中間層12と、基板13と、反射層14と、カバー層15とを主に備えて構成されている。
次に、本発明の第2実施形態について説明する。なお、本実施形態では、前記した第1実施形態と同様の構成要素については、同一符号を付して、その説明を省略することとする。

Claims (3)
- 複数の記録層と、当該複数の記録層の間に設けられる中間層とを備えた光情報記録媒体であって、
記録再生光の入射側から見て、前記複数の記録層よりも奥側の任意の層にトラッキングに用いるための凹部を有し、
前記凹部の深さは、記録再生光の波長をλ、当該凹部内に満たされた層の屈折率をnとして、λ/4nであることを特徴とする光情報記録媒体。 - 前記凹部による凹凸表面を覆うように設けられ、トラッキング光を反射する反射層を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光情報記録媒体。
- 前記凹部を有する層と当該凹部を有する層に最も近い記録層との間に設けられ、記録再生光の吸収率がトラッキング光の吸収率よりも大きい吸収層を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の光情報記録媒体。
