Abstract
【解決手段】複数のアーチ状のラビリンスシールセグメント10,12が設けられており、隣接し合うアーチ状のラビリンスシールセグメント10,12の対面する端部が平坦な面26を有しており、該平坦な面26が、半径方向と軸方向とに向けられているが、厳密に軸方向の向きからずれるように傾斜角によって傾斜させられている。

Claims (9)
- ラビリンスシールにおいて、複数のアーチ状のラビリンスシールセグメントが設けられており、隣接し合うアーチ状のラビリンスシールセグメントの対面する端部が平坦な面を有しており、該平坦な面が、半径方向と軸方向とに向けられているが、厳密に軸方向の向きからずれるように傾斜角だけ傾斜させられていることを特徴とする、ラビリンスシール。
- 前記傾斜角が、約1〜6度である、請求項1記載のラビリンスシール。
- 前記傾斜角が、2〜5度プラス又はマイナス1度である、請求項1記載のラビリンスシール。
- 前記複数のアーチ状のラビリンスシールに保持された複数のアーチ状のブラシシールセグメントが設けられている、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載のラビリンスシール。
- それぞれのアーチ状のブラシシールセグメントが、アーチ状の剛毛保持体と、該アーチ状の剛毛保持体によって保持された複数の剛毛とを有している、請求項4記載のラビリンスシール。
- 剛毛が、ラビリンスシールの半径方向からずれるように傾斜させられており、隣接し合うアーチ状のブラシシールセグメントのアーチ状の剛毛保持体の対面する端部も、実質的に剛毛と同じ傾斜角度で、半径方向からずれるように傾斜させられている、請求項5記載のラビリンスシール。
- 隣接し合うアーチ状のブラシシールセグメントのアーチ状の剛毛保持体の対面する端部が、軸方向に向けられている、請求項5又は6記載のラビリンスシール。
- それぞれのアーチ状のブラシシールセグメントが、該ブラシシールセグメントを保持する対応するアーチ状のラビリンスシールセグメントと同じ角度範囲を有している、請求項4から7までのいずれか1項記載のラビリンスシール。
- 実質的に、これまでに説明された及び/又は添付の図面に示されたようなラビリンスシール。
