Description

The present invention relates to a reinforcing pad for supporting a rotating elastic grindstone and a reinforcing structure using a pad of the rotating elastic grindstone.

The rotary elastic grindstone is a grindstone having flexibility that is used by being attached to a rotary driving body such as a grinder. The rotary elastic grindstone has an advantage that the depth of grinding can be adjusted by adjusting the force with which the grindstone is pressed against the workpiece due to the flexibility.

In order to ensure the flexibility of the rotary elastic grindstone, the thickness of the grinding portion of the grindstone is generally about 2 to 3 mm. When such a rotary elastic grindstone is pressed strongly against a workpiece under high speed rotation, the grindstone is excessively deformed, causing cracks and breakage of the grindstone. Therefore, when using such a rotational elastic grindstone, a reinforcing pad made of hard synthetic resin as shown by X in FIG. 3B is attached to the back of the grindstone.

However, this conventional reinforcing pad has a problem in that since the rotary elastic grindstone is pressed from the back side, bending of the grindstone is hindered, resulting in deep grinding of the workpiece. On the other hand, the operator has manually held the grindstone to give the rotary elastic grindstone more flexibility. In addition, the operator has used the grindstone by removing the reinforcing pad that restricts the bending of the rotary elastic grindstone, but if there is no reinforcing pad, the grindstone will be cracked when excessive force is applied. .

Patent Document 1 describes that a fabric core material impregnated with a resin is provided in the central layer of a reinforcing pad made of a soft synthetic resin. This was intended to achieve reinforcement without sacrificing the flexibility of the grindstone, but such a reinforcement pad requires a plurality of types of materials to manufacture, There is a problem that it is difficult to achieve both the reinforcing property and the manufacturing process is very troublesome and costly.

Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2003-117834

The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems, and can easily manufacture without impairing the flexibility of the rotary elastic grindstone and preventing the grindstone from being excessively deformed and damaging. An object of the present invention is to provide a reinforcing pad for a rotary elastic grindstone that can be used.

In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention provides a gap between the grinding portion of the rotary elastic grindstone and the reinforcing pad.

That is, the present invention is a reinforcing pad of a rotating elastic grindstone comprising an annular grinding part and a central offset part protruding from the grinding part to the back side, and a central support part that supports the offset part from the back side, A gap that allows the grinding part to bend to the back side between the back of the grinding part, and an outer support part that receives the grinding part that has been bent to the back side. Features.

Further, the present invention is a reinforcing structure by a pad of a rotating elastic grindstone provided with an annular grinding part and a central offset part protruding from the grinding part to the back side, and the pad has the offset part from the back side. A central support portion for supporting and an outer support portion for supporting the grinding portion from the back surface, and a gap is provided between the grinding portion and the outer support portion to allow the grinding portion to bend toward the back surface side. The outer support portion receives a ground portion bent toward the back side.

The outer support portion is preferably provided so as to move away from the grinding portion toward the outer periphery.

The outer support portion may be provided in parallel with the grinding portion.

According to the present invention, since the gap that allows the grinding portion to bend to the back side is provided between the grinding portion and the reinforcing pad of the rotational elastic grinding stone, the rotational elastic grinding stone is usually used. When pressed against the workpiece with a certain degree of force, the grindstone does not come into contact with the reinforcing pad even if it is bent. Therefore, grinding using the flexibility of the grindstone can be performed without hindering the bending of the rotary elastic grindstone. In addition, when the rotary elastic grindstone is pressed with a strong force, if the grindstone is bent until it comes into contact with the reinforcing pad, the grindstone will not bend any more because it is supported from the back side by the reinforcing pad. Therefore, according to the present invention, it is possible to prevent the rotary elastic grindstone from being excessively deformed during use and being damaged. Further, according to the present invention, there is no need to give flexibility to the reinforcing pad itself, and it can be manufactured using the same hard synthetic resin as the conventional reinforcing pad, so that the manufacturing is easy and the manufacturing cost is increased. It has the advantage that can be suppressed.

Further, in the case where the outer support portion is provided so as to move away from the grinding portion toward the outer periphery, the bending of the grinding portion can be supported by the entire outer support portion. Can avoid concentration.

Hereinafter, embodiments for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. It should be noted that the following description of the preferred embodiment is merely illustrative in nature and is not intended to limit the present invention, its application, or its use.

<Embodiment 1>
This embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS.

As shown in FIG. 1, 1 is a disk-shaped rotational elastic grindstone, and 2 is a disk-shaped reinforcing pad having a diameter smaller than that of the grindstone 1. 3 is a grinding part of the grindstone 1, 4 is a central offset part protruding from the grinding part 3 to the back side, 5 is a boundary part between the grinding part 3 and the offset part 4, and 6 is a center provided at the center of the offset part 4 It is a hole. The reinforcing pad 2 is provided on the back side of the grindstone 1. The reinforcing pad 2 includes an annular outer support portion 7 that supports the grinding portion 3, and a disk-shaped central support portion 8 that supports the offset portion 4 is continuously formed inside the outer support portion 7. Yes. The reinforcing pad 2 according to the present embodiment can be formed of a hard synthetic resin, similarly to the conventional reinforcing pad.

First, the outer side support part 7 is demonstrated based on FIG. In the present embodiment, the outer support portion 7 is in contact with the grinding portion 3 in the vicinity of the boundary portion 5, but is inclined so as to gradually move away from the grinding portion 3 toward the outer peripheral side. . And the outer edge part of the outer side support part 7 becomes a shape which curves in the back side of a grindstone. Thus, in the reinforcing pad of this embodiment, a gap is provided between the outer support portion 7 and the grinding portion 3 to allow the grinding portion 3 to bend to the back side.

When the grindstone 1 is pressed against the workpiece, the grinding part 3 bends to the back side with the boundary part 5 as the center of bending, but when pressed with a relatively weak force, the grinding part 3 and the outer support part 7 are ground. The grinding part 3 can be bent without being obstructed by the reinforcing pad 2 due to the gap provided between the part 3 and the part 3. On the other hand, when pressed by a relatively strong force, if the grinding part 3 is bent until it comes into contact with the outer support part 7, the outer support part 7 receives and supports the grinding part 3 from the back side. Excessive deformation and crack breakage can be prevented. Moreover, since the outer edge part of the outer side support part 7 becomes a shape which curves back to the back side of a grindstone, when the grinding part 3 contacts the support part 7, it is avoided that stress concentrates on the contact part. The crack damage of the grindstone 1 can be prevented.

The maximum bending angle at which the grindstone 1 can bend without cracking is determined by the type of the binding material of the grindstone and the reinforcing core material. It is necessary to design the reinforcing pad 2 so that the angle between the outer support portion 7 and the grinding portion 3 is smaller than the maximum deflection angle.

Next, the center support portion 8 will be described with reference to FIG. Each figure of FIG. 3 has shown the state when the grindstone 1 and the reinforcement pad 2 are attached to the grinder apparatus. c is a rotating shaft of the grinder, d is a connecting fitting for connecting the grinder device main body and the reinforcing pad 2, and e is a fixing fitting for fixing the grindstone 1 from the tip side of the rotating shaft c. Reference numeral 9 denotes a boss portion provided in the center portion of the center support portion 8 and having a through hole 10 into which the rotation shaft c is inserted. The boss portion 9 has an annular stepped portion 11 formed by lowering the peripheral portion of the through-hole 10 on the back side, and a cylindrical fitting portion 12 protrudes on the grinding surface side. The center support portion 8 has an inclined portion corresponding to the tapered portion of the offset portion 4 on the outer peripheral side of the boss portion 9 and is connected to the outer support portion 7.

As shown in FIG. 3 (B), the conventional reinforcing pad X has no portion to be engaged with the grindstone 1 and is merely superimposed on the grindstone 1. For this reason, when the fixing bracket e is removed, only the grindstone 1 is detached from the rotating shaft c, and the reinforcing pad is left behind in the grinder. Next, when a grindstone different from the rotating elastic grindstone is attached, the reinforcing pad must be removed. There was a problem. Furthermore, when the rotary elastic grindstone is attached to the grinder again, there is a problem that the reinforcing pad must be remounted.

On the other hand, the reinforcing pad of the present embodiment shown in FIG. 3A has the fitting portion 12 closely fitted in the center hole 6 of the grindstone 1, so that even if the fixing bracket e is removed, the grindstone Only 1 is not detached from the rotating shaft c, and the reinforcing pad 2 can be removed while being fixed to the grindstone 1. Accordingly, the reinforcing pad of this embodiment can efficiently perform the work when the grindstone is replaced.

Further, the conventional reinforcing pad X has a problem that the tip of the rotating shaft c protrudes from the grinding surface due to the shape of the offset portion of the grindstone 1. Since the rotary elastic grindstone is used in a state of being bent to some extent, if the rotary shaft c protrudes from the ground surface, this has damaged the workpiece. On the other hand, the reinforcing pad 2 of the present embodiment has the boss portion 9 formed thick so that the connection fitting d fits into the stepped lower portion 11, so that the grindstone 1 corresponds to the thickness of the boss portion 9. The rotating shaft c does not protrude beyond the ground surface due to the shifting toward the tip side of the rotating shaft c. Therefore, according to the auxiliary pad 2 according to the present embodiment, the rotating shaft c does not interfere with grinding.

<Embodiment 2>
This embodiment is shown in FIG.

The reinforcing pad 22 according to this embodiment is characterized in that the outer support portion 27 is positioned in parallel with the grinding portion 3 of the rotary elastic grindstone 1 while maintaining a certain distance. Also in this embodiment, the outer edge portion of the outer support portion 27 has a shape that warps toward the back side of the grindstone.

In the reinforcing pad 22 of the present embodiment, the outer support portion 27 is not in contact with the grinding portion 3 of the grindstone 1, but when the grinding portion 3 is pressed against the workpiece, the grinding portion 3 is similar to the first embodiment. Then, it bends toward the back side with the boundary portion 5 as the bending center, and is in the state indicated by the two-dot chain line in the figure. In the reinforcing pad 22 of the present embodiment, the bending portion 3 is bent toward the back side with the boundary portion 5 as the center, and the bending angle of the grinding portion 3 when contacting the outer support portion 27 can be bent without cracking the grindstone 1. It is necessary to design the reinforcing pad 22 so as to be smaller than the maximum deflection angle.

Therefore, even if the reinforcing pad 22 having such a shape is pressed with a relatively weak force, the grinding portion 3 is caused by a gap provided between the outer support portion 27 and the grinding portion 3. The reinforcement pad 22 can bend without being obstructed. On the other hand, when pressed by a relatively strong force, if the grinding part 3 bends until it comes into contact with the outer support part 27, the outer support part 27 receives and supports the grinding part 3 from the back side. Excessive deformation and crack breakage can be prevented. Moreover, since the outer edge part of the outer side support part 27 becomes a shape which curves to the back side of a grindstone, when the grinding part 3 contacts the outer side support part 27, it is avoided that stress concentrates on the contact part. And cracking of the grindstone 1 can be prevented.

<Embodiment 3>
This embodiment is shown in FIG.

The reinforcing pad 32 according to the present embodiment has a shape in which the outer support portion 37 comes into contact with the grinding portion 3 on the outer peripheral side from the boundary portion 5 and warps toward the back side of the grindstone 1 as it goes from there to the outer edge portion. It is characterized by becoming. Even if it is such a shape, since the outer side support part 37 is provided so that it may leave | separate from the grinding part 3 as it goes to an outer periphery, between the outer side support part 37 and the back surface of the grinding part 3, it is a grinding part. A gap that allows the back surface 3 to bend is formed, and the outer support portion 37 can receive the grinding portion 3 that is bent toward the back side. In addition, since the entire outer support portion 37 has a shape that warps toward the back side of the grindstone 1, the contact area increases when the grinding portion 3 bends to warp toward the back side and contacts the outer support portion 37. It is easy to avoid stress from concentrating on the contact portion, and crack damage to the grindstone 1 can be prevented.
