Abstract
Description
a)使用される磁石24,26は、18MGOeもしくはそれ以上のエネルギー積を有し、9.0mm径×2.0mm厚のボタン形状に成型された希土類磁石(例えば、SmCoやNdBFe等)である。
b)推奨される磁極片30の材料は、例えば、17−4PHもしくは任意の400シリーズステンレス鋼等の磁性ステンレス鋼材である。
c)シャフト溝44の形成数は、四個を最小とし、好ましくは8個ないし15個とすべきである。溝深さを0.5mm、溝幅を0.5mmとし、各溝間隔を0.5mmとするのが好ましい。この溝深さは、シャフトと磁極片との間の径方向の間隙の少なくとも四倍とすべきである。
Claims (9)
- 磁性流体封止装置において、
シャフトと、
磁極片と、
底面を有しており、前記シャフト又は前記磁極片によって画定される少なくとも一つの環状溝部と、
強磁性流体を含んでおり、前記シャフトと前記磁極片との間に位置している複数の封止流体円環と、
厚みを有しており、前記溝部の底面に直接隣接して位置している分路壁と、
前記少なくとも一つの溝部内に位置している少なくとも一個の磁石とを備え、
前記分路壁の厚みは、流体が前記封止流体円環の一面から他面へと移動されるときの前記複数の封止流体円環におけるエネルギー差に基づいている、磁性流体封止装置。 - 前記分路壁の厚みは、流体が前記封止流体円環の一面から他面へと移動されるときの前記複数の封止流体円環におけるエネルギー差の最大化に基づいている、請求項1記載の磁性流体封止装置。
- 前記封止流体円環は、前記シャフトによって画定されている、請求項1に記載の磁性流体封止装置。
- 前記封止流体円環は、前記磁極片によって画定されている、請求項1に記載の磁性流体封止装置。
- 前記少なくとも一つの溝部は、前記シャフトによって画定されている、請求項1に記載の磁性流体封止装置。
- 前記分路壁の厚みは、前記溝部の底面と前記シャフトの中央線との間の距離として画定されている、請求項5記載の磁性流体封止装置。
- 前記少なくとも一つの溝部は、前記磁極片によって画定されている、請求項1に記載の磁性流体封止装置。
- 前記分路壁の厚みは、前記溝部の底面と前記磁極片の内径との間の距離として画定されている、請求項7に記載の磁性流体封止装置。
- 前記少なくとも一個の磁石は、異極性の少なくとも二個の磁石を備える、請求項1に記載の磁性流体封止装置。
