Description
物品を性能調査のために調製する。具体的には、シリコーン高コンシステンシーゴム状物質化合物(約75,000超の数平均分子量の)を、おおよそ18〜20ミルの厚さで基材の第1表面上へ圧延し、約150℃の温度および約600psiの圧力でRotoCureプレスを使用して熱硬化させる。基材は、基材の第2表面上におおよそ1〜4ミル厚さのシリコーン感圧接着剤コーティング付きの2ミルのガラス繊維処理クロスである。
溶射マスキングテープを生産パイロットランのために調製する。溶射マスキングテープの組成は、実施例1のテープと等価であるが、約3.7ミルの厚さを有するガラスクロス基材を使ってである。試験結果は表1に見ることができる。
2つの溶射マスキングテープを機械的試験のために調製する。第1の溶射マスキングテープ(1)は、実施例1のテープと等価であるが、高コンシステンシーゴム状物質(HCR)表層の上にキスコート接着剤層、および基材の第2表面とシリコーン感圧接着剤コーティングとの間にシリル化ウレタン接着剤中間層付きである。第2の溶射マスキングテープ(2)は、基材の第1表面と高コンシステンシーゴム状物質(HCR)表層との間にシリコーンエラストマー中間層、およびガラス繊維基材と外側感圧接着剤層との間に高架橋シリコーン接着剤付きで、本実施例の第1の溶射マスキングテープと等価である。鋼への引きはがし粘着力を、ASTM D1000を用いて試験する。試験結果は表2に見ることができる。
Claims (25)
- 第1主面および第2主面を有する基材と;
前記基材の前記第1主面の上にある表層であって、約600ポンド/平方インチ超の最大抗張力を有するエラストマーから形成された表層と
を含む溶射マスキングテープ。 - 前記エラストマーが約20〜約90のショアAデュロメーターを有する、請求項1に記載の溶射マスキングテープ。
- 前記エラストマーが約25,000超の数平均分子量(Mn)を有する、請求項1〜2のいずれか一項に記載の溶射マスキングテープ。
- 前記エラストマーが架橋されている、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の溶射マスキングテープ。
- 前記エラストマーがシリコーンゴムである、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の溶射マスキングテープ。
- 前記シリコーンゴムが高コンシステンシーゴム状物質(HCR)である、請求項5に記載の溶射マスキングテープ。
- 前記基材が高温布である、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の溶射マスキングテープ。
- 前記基材の前記第2主面の上にある接着剤層をさらに含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の溶射マスキングテープ。
- 前記接着剤層が、シリコーンポリマー、アクリル、ゴム、ウレタン、感圧接着剤、またはそれらの組み合わせから形成される、請求項8に記載の溶射マスキングテープ。
- 前記表層の上にあるキスコート接着剤層をさらに含む、請求項8に記載の溶射マスキングテープ。
- 前記キスコート接着剤層が、シリコーンポリマー、アクリル、ゴム、ウレタン、感圧接着剤、またはそれらの組み合わせから形成される、請求項10に記載の溶射マスキングテープ。
- 前記基材と前記表層との間に、前記基材と前記接着剤層との間に、前記表層と前記キスコート接着剤層との間に、またはそれらの任意の組み合わせに配置された少なくとも1つの中間層をさらに含む、請求項10に記載の溶射マスキングテープ。
- 前記少なくとも1つの中間層が、金属、Kevlar、セラミック、ガラス、シリコーンエラストマー、感圧接着剤、またはそれらの組み合わせから形成される、請求項12に記載の溶射マスキングテープ。
- HVOFプロセス中の高温、高圧、および高速に対する耐性を有する、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の溶射マスキングテープ。
- 第1主面および第2主面を有する基材を提供する工程と;
前記基材の前記第1主面の上に、約600ポンド/平方インチ超の最大抗張力を有する架橋エラストマーから形成される表層を重ねる工程と
を含む、溶射マスキングテープの形成方法。 - 前記表層を上に重ねる前に前記基材を処理する工程をさらに含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記エラストマーがシリコーンゴムである、請求項15〜16のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
