Description
Claims (13)
- 照明装置光を生成するよう構成された照明装置であって、前記照明装置はライティング・ユニットを有し、前記ライティング・ユニットは:
・光源光を生成するよう構成された光源および
・前記光源光をコリメートするよう構成された実質的に平坦な光ガイドを有し、前記光ガイドは:
・入射窓およびエッジ窓と、
・実質的に平行に構成された第一の光ガイド表面および第二の光ガイド表面と、
・第一のサイド・エッジおよび第二のサイド・エッジとを有し、前記第一のサイド・エッジおよび前記第二のサイド・エッジは前記入射窓から前記エッジ窓の方向に発散も収束もしないよう構成されており、
前記入射窓は、前記光源の光源光を受るよう構成されており、前記エッジ窓はコリメートされた光源光が照明装置光として前記光ガイドから逃げることを許容するよう構成されており、
前記第一の光ガイド表面および前記第二の光ガイド表面の一方または両方は複数の溝を有し、前記溝は前記入射窓から前記エッジ窓の方向に発散するよう構成されている、
照明装置。 - 前記第一の光ガイド表面および前記第二の光ガイド表面の両方が複数の溝を有する、請求項1記載の照明装置。
- 前記複数の溝が、前記光源と一致する位置に仮想的に収束する、請求項1または2に記載の照明装置。
- 前記複数の溝が、前記光源の上流の位置に仮想的に収束する、請求項1または2に記載の照明装置。
- 前記エッジ窓が、前記第一の光ガイド表面または前記第二の光ガイド表面に対して、35〜105°の範囲の傾斜角をもつ、請求項1ないし4のうちいずれか一項記載の照明装置。
- 前記光ガイドがソリッドな透明光ガイドである、請求項1ないし5のうちいずれか一項記載の照明装置。
- 前記第一の光ガイド表面および前記第二の光ガイド表面が光ガイド高さを定義し、前記第一のサイド・エッジおよび第二のサイド・エッジが光ガイド幅を定義し、幅/高さの比が1〜100の範囲にある、請求項1ないし6のうちいずれか一項記載の照明装置。
- 前記第一のサイド・エッジおよび第二のサイド・エッジが光ガイド幅を定義し、第一のサイド・エッジおよび第二のサイド・エッジがサイド・エッジ長さ(L1)を有し、幅/長さ比が0.5〜2の範囲である、請求項1ないし7のうちいずれか一項記載の照明装置。
- 光源の光源光をコリメートするよう構成された実質的に平坦な光ガイドであって、前記光ガイドは:
・入射窓およびエッジ窓と、
・実質的に平行に配置された第一の光ガイド表面および第二の光ガイド表面と、
・第一のサイド・エッジおよび第二のサイド・エッジとを有し、前記第一のサイド・エッジおよび前記第二のサイド・エッジは前記入射窓から前記エッジ窓の方向に発散も収束もしないよう構成されており、
前記入射窓は、前記光源の光源光を受け取るよう構成されており、前記エッジ窓はコリメートされた光源光が照明装置光として前記光ガイドから逃げることを許容するよう構成されており、
前記第一の光ガイド表面および前記第二の光ガイド表面の一方または両方は複数の溝を有し、前記溝は前記入射窓から前記エッジ窓の方向に発散するよう構成されている、
光ガイド。 - 光ガイド・コリメータ構成であって、請求項9記載の光ガイドおよび光ガイド・ファンネル部を有し、前記光ガイドは、光源の光源光をコリメートし、コリメートされた光を前記光ガイド・ファンネル部に提供するよう構成されている、光ガイド・コリメータ構成。
- 請求項10記載の光ガイド・コリメータ構成であって、さらに導波路を有し、前記光ガイドおよび前記光ガイド・ファンネル部がコリメートされた光を前記導波路に提供するよう構成されている、光ガイド・コリメータ構成。
- 請求項10または11記載の光ガイド・コリメータ構成であって、前記コリメータがコリメータ高さを有し、前記導波路が導波路高さを有し、前記導波路高さが前記コリメータ高さより小さい、光ガイド・コリメータ構成。
- 光ガイド・コリメータ構成であって、請求項9記載の光ガイドを有し、前記光ガイドは、光源の光源光をコリメートし、コリメートされた光を導波路に与えるよう構成されており、前記導波路は低屈折率のクラッディングを有する、光ガイド・コリメータ構成。
